Oh, this is too hard ... It would be a toss up between Born To Die, Yayo, Bel Air, Young And Beautiful, Old Money, Oh Say Can You See, National Anthem ... It changes from day to day, based on my mood. I relate to her sad songs the most, because she seems to question the same things I question -- but I do admit a special place in my heart to "Paris" which I think must be her ONE truly happy song. If I had to pick JUST ONE it would probably be Born To Die.

I'm from Detroit and I'm SOOOO curious as to the reference. When I heard the song I sat up so straight at "Detroit" I wish I knew what she was saying, though. Someone mentioned the delux version saying "to kill back to Detroit" - but that makes NO sense. It sounds like "to get back to Detroit." But other than when she came here in May, when was she ever here? I've never heard her mention it. This is a mystery that must be solved!!

I feel like a stalker. I had to search it myself to see what political party she is. Not that I'm surprised, but I just love her more and more every day!

Thank you! I'm glad to know!

It bothers me, too - mainly because it's such a small point, it doesn't seem worth lying about - whether she was forced to or chose to. And partly because I liked being the same age as Lana. haha But it DOES make sense, time-line-wise. I kept thinking, "All these things she's talking about, you can't fit all that in between ages 14-28." She said she was in boarding school 4 years, she was with K two or three years, with that executive guy for SEVEN years, etc. Add in Alabama and Brooklyn, and even with cross-over events it's lacking a good year or more to make sense. She IS an enigma!

When I bought Born To Die earlier this year, I read Lana was 27. After her birthday, suddenly Wikipedia, LanaWiki, and other online sources cite her age as being 29. What happened?! lol Who is right? I thought she was 28, born in 1986. Now she's 29, born in 85. Can someone clarify which is true, please?

Thank you ALL so, so much! Now I want to see it even more, if that's possible. And I'm glad everyone said it's easier to enjoy and hear while seated, because I'm 100% sure that, if I get tickets, they will not be floor. Cross your fingers ... !!!!

Thank you so much! Very helpful information. And lucky you for not only seeing Lana, but being in the UK! haha I'm definitely interested in hearing from more people, too, to hear your experiences!

"I'm kinda outta luck" ~ Lana was predicting the future for fans trying to get into sold out shows!

Hey hey! Ok, so I'm TRYING to find tickets to the Detroit show on the 15th, but so far all of the broker tickets are above my budget. If they lower the day before, I'll buy two (one for me, one for my mom!). If not, I guess I won't go unless someone magically has an extra ticket or something. But I'm PLANNING on attending, so let's pretend this is confirmed. First of all, I've read some things about the live shows that concern me a little. AND I have a question about meeting her. (I hope I don't sound like an old fuddy duddy writing these things.) 1. Loud, aggressive crowd; mostly teen girls ~ Now, I'm only 27, but the energy of teenagers is far and above any energy I will ever have again. I've read that the concerts are so loud that you can hardly hear Lana, and that fights have broken out and it's a general mess. 2. Short Set ~ Is it true that Lana only sings for about an hour? If you've seen her, how many songs did she perform? Does she spend more time onstage or with the front-row fans? If I had access to floor tickets I wouldn't complain, but in all likelihood I'll be in the balcony or something. Plus, because my mom wants to see her, as well, I want to make sure she enjoys it. 3. Without the Meet & Greet, is there a chance to still meet Lana before or after a show? I would be at the Masonic Temple, which is HUGE, and I have no idea where she'd be dropped off or anything. In your experience, does she tend to come out? If so, is it before or after, and how long did you wait? THANK YOU! I look forward to reading the replies; I'd love to see her but am wondering if maybe I should just wait until the Ultraviolence tour and hope to get assured tickets and a quieter venue! Sincerely Lily
