  1. This is so bittersweet. I'm obviously happy for her, to see that she's decided to put herself and her mental health first. But it's sad to think... that we are not going to see much of her anymore. We'll miss her, for sure. But we wish her the best
  2. Remembering one of her best music videos, yup!
  3. Please, this is all I ever wanted! Like, she already performed it live, why can't she record a studio version
  4. I know a few songs... Does the Folk genre fit into the AS&C criteria?
  5. I truly have no idea what "American Standards & Classics" means lol all I can think about when I hear American (as a foreigner) is country music
  6. Right?! Everyone hate that cover, but I think it's really good. One of her best, actually
  7. Same, I am obsessed! The chorus might have one of the most beautiful melodies Lana has ever come up with!
  8. Freak is probably Lana's sexiest song. I'm not sure what BBS is about, but if it's in the same vein as Freak... My goodness!!!
  9. Whatever it is, I bet it's a great song! her tracks #5 are always amazing
  10. Well, considering that the only thing that's blue during this era are our balls... not even the banisters in the cover are...
  11. If BBS is anything like LFL, then we have three options. 1) it's a political song. 2) it has a trap beat. 3) it features The Weeknd, Stevie Nicks, Sean Lennon, A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti all together + recorded through a sheet of paper for texture on the vocals
  12. The return of Lizzy Grant? She'll re-release AKA, and then all the laptop demos
  13. It kinda makes sense why she said we should listen to Arcadia the same way we'd listened to Video Games... Born to Die was the beginning of Lana Del Rey and Blue Banisters is the end of that era, that persona. This is the final chapter. But it's not the end, now a new story begins, one she'll tell herself
  14. Even if this turns out to not be true, it's great to have something to look forward to. It's exciting! Especially considering how the hype always dies really early. But if it indeed turns out to be false, y'all better not jump and drag Lana for not meeting the expectations y'all created yourselves
  15. I don't hate Nikki. It'd be stupid to, she hasn't done anything if anything, it's Lana's fault for being too easily influenced by the people around her. Nikki is actually a good musician, like her songs are actually great! I just don't think Breaking Up Slowly was good enough for me to love the collab (and I generally dislike collabs entirely, no matter who) We'd have to see if their album is any good. I think it should have more of Nikki's type of production as it's richer than this stripped down one Lana seems to do nowadays
  16. BOZ about track 12-14 "To my knowledge they are untouched (maybe just remastered a bit), but I have no explanation to why Rick Nowels suddenly has credit on Cherry Blossom, he never had it on my side, so maybe he ended up doing something on it that I just missed and the song is reworked? Probably not tho and Lana just randomly remembered that the song first became an idea during session with Rick and decided to credit him. Really not sure on that."
  17. I really hope they don't miss that opportunity... many tracks could have made it at least decently in the radio. Like look at Doin' Time (it was even played in my country ) she can do it! But this time I think that's in the label's hands?
  18. Something I'm curious about is, many people have said that the unreleased tracks haven't been reworked... but have they been re-recorded? I understand why Lana sort of uses a single recording take for that feeling of raw vulnerability (like PWYC) It helps with the narrative of the songs, but... is she that lazy to use the same exact recording that's like 5 or 6 years old? Because it can't be that hard to re-record some vocals and some instruments yet keeping it the same way it was at the same time... Right? I'm sure they'd remaster it at best, but it's just weird lol. Her voice has changed, matured and evolved a lot for the past years. It'd sound... weird.
  19. If Lana copied my rearrangement for Thunder, can I sue her? Instead of asking for money, I'd ask her to release the 25 unreleased-track album
