This is so bittersweet. I'm obviously happy for her, to see that she's decided to put herself and her mental health first. But it's sad to think... that we are not going to see much of her anymore. We'll miss her, for sure. But we wish her the best

Remembering one of her best music videos, yup!

I KNEW IT! It really made more sense than the others lol -
Right?! Everyone hate that cover, but I think it's really good. One of her best, actually

She's so gorgeous!

It kinda makes sense why she said we should listen to Arcadia the same way we'd listened to Video Games... Born to Die was the beginning of Lana Del Rey and Blue Banisters is the end of that era, that persona. This is the final chapter. But it's not the end, now a new story begins, one she'll tell herself

I don't hate Nikki. It'd be stupid to, she hasn't done anything if anything, it's Lana's fault for being too easily influenced by the people around her. Nikki is actually a good musician, like her songs are actually great! I just don't think Breaking Up Slowly was good enough for me to love the collab (and I generally dislike collabs entirely, no matter who) We'd have to see if their album is any good. I think it should have more of Nikki's type of production as it's richer than this stripped down one Lana seems to do nowadays

BOZ about track 12-14 "To my knowledge they are untouched (maybe just remastered a bit), but I have no explanation to why Rick Nowels suddenly has credit on Cherry Blossom, he never had it on my side, so maybe he ended up doing something on it that I just missed and the song is reworked? Probably not tho and Lana just randomly remembered that the song first became an idea during session with Rick and decided to credit him. Really not sure on that."

Something I'm curious about is, many people have said that the unreleased tracks haven't been reworked... but have they been re-recorded? I understand why Lana sort of uses a single recording take for that feeling of raw vulnerability (like PWYC) It helps with the narrative of the songs, but... is she that lazy to use the same exact recording that's like 5 or 6 years old? Because it can't be that hard to re-record some vocals and some instruments yet keeping it the same way it was at the same time... Right? I'm sure they'd remaster it at best, but it's just weird lol. Her voice has changed, matured and evolved a lot for the past years. It'd sound... weird.
