In the Rolling Stone interview she says that she often asked Jack to "be wilder" during the recording sessions and that she actively encouraged him on going in harder on the songs. Remembering that she mentioned being uncertain about the albums sound but not being able to further work on them because of COVID, that could indicate RCS will actually have a more intense sound again. Unlike the NFR era, she does not talk about how great Jack is in nearly every interview, so maybe she really moved on with a new producer - perhaps Zach, since they did Dealer together, which is indicated to be a "wilder" song.

Not really anything new in this one. A lot of boring banter ("have you ever seen a ghost?" "what's your favourite Elvis-era?" "do you have a recurring dream?" "what's your most precious posession?") and the usual whining about how fame did not treat her well, how people have a misconception of her feeling attacked without a reason etc etc. Concerning the album, there is no information we did not have so far. She talks about the story behind "Dark But Just A Game" again, mentions how the weird vocals on "White Dress" were not something she planned but happened when she was goofing around with Jack in the studio. We've heard it before. The rest is descriptive stuff about her career, her work so far and how the new album sounds. Plus the unavoidable paragraph on the controversy about "Question for the Culture"

I don't want to spoil your positive experience but reading this made me realize how flat and superficial the production Jack does is compared to other producers she worked with. Honeymoon or Ultraviolence for example had so many layers and details to discover, which is not something that happened on NFR - and much less on COCC.

She will finally release "I wish you were dead already", the monumental diss-track she's been cooking up ever since that Guardian interview in 2014. However, she'll still mix up Tim Jonze and Alexis Petridis in the lyrics, which will cause another big controvery that will lead to her announcing LDR9 two days prior to Rock Candy Sweet's release day.

While that was disappointing as f*ck and another instance where she announced ("promise") something and then did not even felt the need to address the fact it was not coming, her initial statement was really vague. Chemtrails on the other hand was a pretty specific date on a permanent instagram post and she did not have the balls to just post a short "Sorry guys, it's not coming xx" but instead just postet that BTS-video where she's beating around the bush

Lana recieves a lot of unfair hate and crticism and some music "journalists" seem to love to bash her for the sake of it. Some articles are so disgsating to read, you instantly notice that the author just wajted to hate on her for her looks or a lyric on BtD, and did not even listen to the new music once. On the other hand she seems to like her role as a victim as she does everything to reinforce it. And with all the bs she did during the CoCc era, she shouldn't be suprised. 50% of the album promo was her doing weird and "controversial" stuff that wasn't even related to the music. And this "lashing out" on social media has lost all its charme since like 2012.

I follow a lot of small indie artists and they all manage to create good visuals for their albums without necessarily having a big budget - just because they burn for their art. And even if they are not visual-artists, they still manage to pick something simple that's not an insult to the eye. It's about how much you WANT to deliver a great package. Lana actively doesn't give a f*ck because she has the priviledge to be a rich woman with a big loyal fanbase.

Even low-key singer/songwriters who are not visual artista have nice artwork though

I'd really like this album to have a darker/ more alternative-rock influenced sound in the vein of California/Thunder/Your Girl paired with the angry energy she had on In My Feelings
