I don't think that pointing out someone is misunderstanding/ misinterpreting a statement has anything to do with my race/ ethnicity/ gender/ sexuality. "I'm part of a marginalized group, so I can not be wrong" is a pretty risky mindset.

It was a messy, self-centered post with her acting up as if the other woman she mentioned did not get the shit she does and where she narcissistically portrayed herself as the glamorous, delicate victim while being a rich, priviledged and politically superficial white woman in america. Yup. But making it a big racist issue because the women she mentioned were black and then going in with the "Ok, at this point of the text she mentions Beyonce, who is a black woman, and at this point she is talking some bs about soft women in feminism. SO THAT HAS TO MEAN SHE SAYS BLACK WOMEN CAN''T BE SOFT OMG SO RACIST" is just dump. "OMG SHE CAME FOR TWIGS!" no she did not. She said that Twigs pole dancing is considered art, while hers is considered whore-ish. The fact she ignores that Twigs gets called a whore aswell is problematic and self-centered but she did not "come for her". If you don't try really hard to see every mention of another person in a non-yass-ing way as an attack, then it's pretty obvious that Lana wanted to state that women dancing should not get called a whore. And if you stop with this "rightful anger" mindset, you would see that too. Lanas posts were problematic and exposed her as being a narcissist. But they did not expose her as a racist.

"Hey, I feel like you said something YOU NEVER ACTUALLY DID but that hurt me and therefore it's racism and noone gets to say I'm wrong". Sorry, but nah. This "let's NOT talk and resort to emotional outlashes" mindset is pretty unhealthy, no matter with which intention it's voiced. Silencing arguments you do not agree with by instantly brandmarking them as racist or x-phobic is not going to help anyone.

Yawn. Woke-culture at it's best. "You are not black/gay/trans/female, yet everything you say can easily be invalidated." Constructing something that was never said out of the fragments of an (admittedly messy and not unproblematic) statement is not an experience of racism. It's a misunderstandig at best and an intentional imputation in the worst case. And it does not matter if I am black or not to point that out.
-
It was not. Just because you can try to misunderstand something as hard as possible to be offended, it's not really there or even "implied". "Hey there are some black women mentioned at this point and there is this statement at that point, why not just put it together to a completely new statement that was not included in the initial post at all." That is just so extremely toxic and dangerous and something that usually rigth wingers resort to.

And again Lana never said that. She did a messy post, included the name of some black singers and BAM it's racist. Basic reading comprehension is really lacking on the internet. She never said that black women or women wearing sexy clothes can't be soft. This is actively misunderstsnding her to play the OFFENDED-card.

Replay, 911 and Babylon are cute. But the album has nothing on the exciting strucutures of ARTPOP, BTW and TF(M). A lot of the song structures are predictable, the production is really repetitivr, there is no "wow"-effect and Gaga is yelling too much.

That explains why those three tracks were grouped to an "EP". Darkest Hour was premiered alongside Kalim, Rhode and Key, so I guess it's safe to say that DH and Martyr were part of the scrapped album.

Martyr and Lamp Lady are my favs from the singles run. Joanna is ok but not really groundbreaking either
-
Did she confirm this? Because since around last year, Spotify started to compile single runs for an upcoming album into small EP with the latest single always including all of the previous singles. Sometimes carried over to other digital services like Amazon.

Whut? It literally hd 0 visual direction. The visuals were as over the place as the music. Some photoshoots were great, others looked like random fashion-magazine-shoots. And all of the music video visuals were flawed in one way or the other. WM had great visuals but even without knowing BAR it was obvious the visuals were not meant for the track. LFL started out nice but then there were just boring scenes of Lana and the Weakend on the Hollywood-Sign. Love had a great style but the focus on the teenagers made it seem like a Vodafone commercial.

Can she PLEASE keep her face and hair like this for the new album shoot? She looks sooooooo good. It's sad how she sticks to the "they don't get blamed for stuff I do"-narrative. Twigs gets just as much called a whore. Her main point - the way critics do her dirty and the cultural double-standards - is not wrong at all and the fact that people forced a race-debate is still pathetic. But she shoud have just kept quiet about those comparances, as they are the weak point of her reasoning. And I LOVE the album title, it's SO MUCH BETTER than White Hot Forever. I hope she keeps it.
