I honestly hope she just releases Cherry and then one more song, I hate when an album comes out and I've heard most of it, it ruins the album for me

I think this question has been answered before, but where did the May 26 release date actually originate from? lol

First was music week and then was a few universal websites, there was also a spreadsheet of universals may releases, and then Amazon and a couple of other stores

May 26th was 100% the release date at one point, it's just a question of if that date has changed or not. The only thing that gives me hope is that she has radio promo right after Friday but I'm definitely having my doubts too lol. Who knows a lot of people have surprise released their albums on Apple Music, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Frank Ocean I'm pretty sure, and Beyonce and Rihanna did it on Tidal if I'm not mistaken. But I don't know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm not getting my hopes up.

Right but the album wasn't done at that time, release dates are never decided that early.

If it does come Friday, when will it be released? Is it normally released in the early hours of the morning NZ time? Or is it done randomly? I haven't been around for any other Lana album releases.

Most of the time 11pm-12am EST is when Friday releases come out on iTunes, so Thursday night

It had that urban outfitters album listening party but I'm pretty sure the actual album leaked eventually, idk I try to shut 2015 out LOL

I mean, most albums leak once distributors get the CD's in so I think it's possible. She hasn't had an album come out without leaking, maybe with what happened with Love she wants us to hear it for the first time on her terms? Maybe im wishful thinking lmao

Are you forgetting that Ben said Lana wasn't ok and that she wasn't even sure about releasing the album after Love leaked and then the next day she released it and then live streamed talking about the era lol

Whether the album is coming on Friday or two months from now, I'm enjoying the ride. New photoshoots, new music videos, interviews, performances, active social media etc. It's great! Certainly more energetic and fun than Honeymoon (no disrespect). Anticipation is good. Once an album is actually released a lot of the other stuff dries up, so enjoy this period while it lasts.
