i have one giant album for everything, sorted numerically and then alphabetically from the miss daytona collection + after that i created a “disc 2” and it’s no longer alphabetical because it’s my favorite demos that i have picked and chosen to add to it that weren’t already in the collection. chaotic i know but it works for me lol

i was listening to sweet this morning on repeat. sweet is an underrated icon

i’m sure a lot of people will disagree with this take but people will always want her to move back to her old sound and i’m not sure that it’s the creative direction she’ll ever want to go again because she grew away from it. i love cocc, bb and now ob and still appreciate her growth moving forward even though maybe some ppl construe it as moving backwards. with pink champagne/lmlylaw i think it would’ve been gorgeous on uv but because it didn’t make the cut for whatever reason, she reworked it into cocc because the original sound would not have worked otherwise. it was a beautiful idea that she still wanted us to hear so i’m happy for that. and i’m happy to hear the leak and the idea in it’s infancy! these things can coexist and her genius never fails to amaze me

i think fingertips was really important to have on this album and while i realize that a lot of ppl can’t resonate with basically spoken word poetry as a 6 minute song, i am always fascinated and enamored to hear a streamline of her inner most thoughts. personally i want to know everything and i’m grateful that she wants to share it with us

when her life is her poetry and her love making is her legacy

so true like lana stans realize that she is singing about her life as she experiences it and she’s in her 30s and loves her family like DUH
