    welp. i think trump won texas

     

    edit: whats scary, aside from trump winning, is that these results are evidence of a very large number of bigoted people making the conscious decision to vote for a fascist. regardless of if trump wins or loses, it pains me very deeply to see so many people with outdated and hurtful belief systems. :ohno:

    joe biden has a stutter. him changing his course of words is not an indication hes a senile old man, its what speech therapists tell you to do when you get stuck on a word. heres more on it if youre curious. (dont know if you know that already, but i figured i'd respond anyway)

    I still have PTSD from when I was 16 and watched the NYTimes Prediction Needle go from "90% Hillary Win" to "10% Hillary Win" in the course of 3 hours on Nov. 8th. 

     

    i cancelled my plans to work on homework tomorrow bc i know im not gonna be able to focus. i will be drowning out the anxiety with animal crossing :dorothy3:

    Nate Silver breaks it down pretty good. based on 40,000 election night simulations: there’s a 10% chance Trump wins on election night, 30% biden wins (but less than 300EC), and 60% biden wins (with more than 300EC). he says in the former 2 scenarios, we won’t know the result on election night (too close to call). So all-in-all 40% chance we won’t know winner by 3amEST Nov. 4th.

    Also Texas is the last Republican stronghold--losing it would cause party reform, and hopefully a shift to the left. There are no paths to victory for any GOP presidential candidate if Texas, Cali, Or, Wa, Il, Ny, and Va are Democratic strongholds (6/7 already are). 

     

    there are plenty of democrats here, speaking as someone who is one of them. (im sure one of the reasons is bc a lot of people move here from other -- usually more expensive -- states. im from california and moved here in 2013) i'm just hoping it's enough to flip the state to blue. if this happens, it will be a great day for everyone. 3/4 of my siblings and i are under the age of 30 and are voting blue :woot:

    i dont know about the rest of what you wrote, but why did u feel the need to include this fact?? genuinely curious. if this was to address the lying about having endometriosis, that doesnt mean everyone with it can't get pregnant. but what we're not gonna do is shame people for getting abortions :facepalm: criticize the rest of her immoral behavior (if true) but i dont believe this is something that needed to be mentioned.
