okay I finished listening to the May Jailer vinyl I bought since the store didn't have green indie exclusive . Side A was very static-y, but the other 3 weren't bad at all. Completely listenable. So glad I have it! Now back to listening to OB leaks for the next 2.5 hours.

actually i'm on side B now and it plays just fine! listening to Bad Disease rn. i guess i probably should've cleaned it first but it was sealed so I didn't bother. omg the vinyl are so gorgeous though, i'm so glad i bought it Interscope banned Lana from ever releasing boxsets again bc they still have like 2,000 unsold COCC boxsets

It was only $45... I've seen them online for over $100 so I grabbed it without blinking. I think it was a good price... though everything I've read about these may jailer bootlegs is they play horribly so I guess I'll find out just how bad they are

well the green indie exclusive remains elusive... i went to the closest record store ten minutes before they closed, in case they put the stock out already for tomorrow. unfortunately not only did they not have it out early, they said they didn't even get their shipment of the indie exclusive, only the standard black, but they hope to get it next week. at least i know now not to waste my time going again tomorrow morning but anyway, they did randomly have this so my little trip to the store wasn't a complete waste

I want a boxset so bad but you're so right, I don't know why everyone is so hung up on it because of her insta post. She probably just made that picture herself, it would be the easiest thing to do to combine the explicit photo overlaid over the standard vinyl mockup, a child could've made it in picsart. And she said a boxset was coming, and quite literally there were two "boxsets" available on the US store. That was the boxset, people. It was a boxset we didn't want but just accept it! If we do end up getting a surprise vinyl or cd boxset after all, I'll completely admit I was wrong. But it's just. not. likely.

Ugh I ordered two and neither are coming!! One from an indie store and a second copy from Amazon who also looks very unlikely to be delivering it I'm now planning to go to a record store at 10am tomorrow morning and hope I can grab a copy. wish me luck!! At least the store I ordered from is being very generous in their response. Since they can't send the order, they're offering a choice of receiving the black standard vinyl plus a free mystery record and refund on shipping, holding the order until next month when they get more green vinyl in stock, receiving a $40 store credit, or cancelling and getting a refund. What I choose will depend on whether I get a copy in person tomorrow. I can't believe they probably delayed the album release date because of vinyl manufacturing and we are ending up with fulfillment issues anyway! Based on the past different pressings I'm almost certain we're going to see very different pressings of the "same" variant.

I just got this email from the indie shop I ordered from: "If you received this email, this means you purchased an Indie Exclusive pressing of Lana Del Rey's upcoming album, Did You Know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. We had well over 200 copies listed for sale, which is the amount of copies we pre-purchased from Interscope for that pressing. Our copies just shipped out and along with that notification, we were contacted with concerns about our pre-shipment order. Unfortunately, they are refunding us for more than half of the records as they found out they did not have the stock to support such a large order. We are now only receiving 25 copies. Upon investigation, we discovered this is happening to most major indie stores that purchased bulk copies of them and listed them for pre-order back in December. To put this in scale, the largest music distributor, Alliance, can only send one IEX per store in the US." I've seen other indie stores also say they've only gotten one copy of the indie variant. UGH

I mean I WANT the poster.... but I'm not spending $100 on it. I'd rather spend $100 on vinyl. Or groceries

Haha people are already selling the poster on Mercari and ebay for $100+ Now the question is, in hindsight will $100 be a bargain, and two years from now everyone will be kicking themselves for not buying it at a "cheap price"???

Well great. I was considering cancelling my amazon order for it and ordering it from UO instead. Ugh, I think I might just go to an actual record store Friday morning, I don't trust Amazon is actually getting the indie variant bc the item page has never been updated
