Oh trust me. 1989 was hard to think about. I was almost going to say cut nothing just because the album is so iconic, and remove a song from Fearless instead, but Fearless is already only 3 songs so it feels wrong to reduce it to 2. Especially with Speak Now only being 1.5 songs. You're going to have to tolerate it

If it were up to me I would cut from the setlist: Lover: The Man, The Archer Fearless: nothing Evermore: Tolerate It Reputation: nothing Speak Now: nothing Red: nothing Folklore: Last Great American Dynasty, Illicit Affairs 1989: Shake It Off Midnights: Lavender Haze, Vigilante Shit This frees up space to do an 8-song setlist from TTPD I made my decisions based on: -We're several albums away from Lover now so Lover really needs to be trimmed down. -The sets with no cuts are already so short I don't think they can be shortened any further and still be true to an Eras theme -For Evermore I would cut Marjorie but I can't see Taylor removing it, so I think Tolerate It needs to go of the other songs -We've now basically had four albums since Folklore... Evermore, Midnights, and TTPD/Anthology. Folklore needs to cut at least two songs and not just one. LGAD isn't the most popular song. I'm kinda tired of Betty so I would personally remove that too, but I can't see Taylor doing that so Illicit Affairs it is -1989 is a hard one to slim down bc it's so popular. But something has to go if you want to make room for Tortured Poets and still be faithful to doing all the Eras (except debut)... Style/Blank Space/Bad Blood are all upbeat, so I would get rid of Shake It Off over Wildest Dreams just for variety. Plus I think Shake It Off is the least loved of all five anyway -Midnights is no longer the new album so it needs 2 songs cut and not just 1. This one was hard to do because of all the choreography but then I remember she'd just have new routines for TTPD anyway so Lavender Haze/Vigilante need to go because there would just be equally as exciting routines for whatever she performs from the new album REPLACEMENTS -Instead of Mastermind add Maroon or YOYOK to the permanent setlist -Maybe do Getaway Car instead of Delicate

I agree You go into a grocery store, and they're playing Taylor. not one song, but a whole album. You stop at the bakery... Taylor themed cookies and cakes! you go into a bookstore, they have a whole section of Taylor or Taylor-themed books. Same things at libraries Coffee shops? Of course they have Taylor-themed drink menu! You're in class/you're helping your child with homework.... the teacher worked Taylor into the exercises you're scrolling your instagram... everything from your local park to laundry detergent makes Taylor-references you're watching football... Taylor's there... they keep showing her over and over and over Like.... it really is ridiculous. Imagine if you didn't like Taylor's music (which is fine) but you were constantly being bombarded with her like this. But the thing is, Taylor isn't the one doing any of this. it's her fans/businesses

I don't get it either. The more and more I listen to it, the more I think it might become my favorite Taylor album(s) Reading the bad reviews though, it seems like there's a very sudden and noticeable change in attitude among the public. It's like people just want to dislike it before even listening and they are subconsciously allowing their Taylor-fatigue to overrule their listening experience. Taylor seems to love Lana and I believe her being a fan is genuine, but if Taylor had wanted Lana on the album she would've just asked, which means, if she did ask, that means Lana said no. she wouldn't be upset lmao I love Taylor and I love Lana (obviously) but my personal opinion is Lana only did SOTB because Jack probably pushed her to, which is probably why she was barely in it in the first version. If they hadn't shared a producer I imagine had Taylor asked if Lana would feature in a song, Lana probably would've politely declined. Imagine the true surprise and shock if she released The Anthology a month later out of the blue with no warning No one would be expecting a whole new album just a month later. people on reddit are speculating that a factory worker stole a bunch of signed inserts and that's why so many of the signed cds people received have unsigned inserts. I could believe that i guess my dream of a signed cd is over then bc im not going to gamble all that money on something that might not even be signed

I think she'll release Rep TV during the next Eras tour break. the last European show is Aug 20 and then Miami is Oct 18 so I would guess most likely September 1989 TV and TTPD both came out during the tour breaks. Before she announced the new album, I had been pretty certain we would get Rep TV pre-Europe (but we got a new album instead) but I was in a way right about that being time for releasing something Omg that is stupid. Lmao not me being scammed on a signed Poets cd already Bought a CD so fast on ebay just now bc the price was "good" and I liked the signature but I didn't notice until afterwards it's totally fake. they used pictures of a signed vinyl insert that they probably took off reddit or who knows where. immediately knew the listing was fake. checked out their other listings and I've seen this exact same person "selling" the same junk on Mercari and scamming people with Lover Live from Paris vinyl be careful out there people ETA -I'm a bit hesitant to buy a sealed one bc there have been people on twitter/reddit/tiktok reporting their "signed" CDs have come with unsigned inserts -Looking back at the listing now it's actually super embarrassing I fell for it but thank god for ebay protections -I wouldn't be surprised if lots of the listings are completely fake with stolen photos so I've gone back and edited the photo I posted of my vinyl (sorry it's so ugly now)
