  1. Yeah that comparison gives me hope too But wasn't it also like described as "Garden Party"? Thats what gets me second guessing
  2. I have a gut feeling that Dark But Just a Game won't be the song we expect her to be. Like she will be very different from what any of us are imagining her to be if you know what I mean? Like the title makes her sound mysterious and cryptic, strange production with a dark undertone, but my gut is saying it won't be anything like that?
  3. I think so too because shes really emulating Dorothy trying to find her way back home again this era
  4. Everyones fighting while I'm over here still wondering if its arkansas or our kansas?
  5. Idk this era is giving me Honeymoon AKA 2.0 vibes and I'm really feeling myself and the era.. I'm so excited for the album I can't wait for the pure servery
  6. I still think its coming on the 12th, but the music video looks so fucking good!! I can't stop replaying the teaser
  7. LMAO, I love Tamaryn I forgot to mention her, Cranekiss was an incredible album and it doesn't surprise me Jorge was the one who produced it And really everything hes produced is just so fucking good, his music is just so soo good. I'm excited for REMYNYS especially since Down In Flames is apart of the soundscape.
  8. The only way Yosemite could be sorta bad is if the printer paper had already made its entrance in the studio when it was recorded Get out of my blood, photo copy paper
  9. Jorge Elbrecht is a producer singer/songwriter. He produces all his own music and has also produced music and worked with many different artists ranging from indie to big known names; most notably Caroline Polachek and Sky Ferreira for her never to be released upcoming sophomore album, Masochism. His music is mostly 60s 70s and 80s influenced and he covers a wide range of sound. He has 3 albums and a EP out aswell as a upcoming album, Presentable Corpse 002, out May 28th. I love his music and normally male vocals aren't my thing at all but I find his voice particularly soothing. You guys should check him out, he has some really good stuff! My recommendations: Wash Away With the Rain - Here Lies (album) Down In Flames - Happiness EP This Time or Never - from his upcoming album Presentable Corpse 002
  10. Her last interview was kinda entertaining ngl, it'd add the chaotic mood of this era right before listening to white dress
  11. Imagine Yosemite starting off with like a fade in synth kinda like those old VHS tapes from the 80s with a lil white noise, like a 80s or 70s documentary of Yosemite park on VHS film. And then comes in the guitar strumming and the bongos and tambourines
  12. watch how eclipse actually was trolling us this whole time and its actually roachella 2.0
  13. Lmao maybe half the threads not loading for me because I'm not seeing really anyone being negative about not listening to it If anything the only thing I see is everyones meltdoens that its not coming this Friday, even though Lana never announced it to be out this friday But maybe it'll be like LMLYLAW
  14. The records coming in 3 weeks anyway so I'm not feeling the delusion this time ngl But I'll support you girlies who are manifesting a release this friday Just not believing we'll actually get a single this friday myself, with a drink in my hand six feet away
  15. The way I found yosemite through the search bar thinking I was just clowning myself finding a glitch in the system and then @wild caged animal finding the actual direct link just moments later I didn't even believe it until the link, like yosemite actually getting released?? a joke by that point, I could not believe it a surreal moment truly
  16. Its interesting listening to violet now after knowing her thoughts from her recent interview. In salamander she writes about how "Some stories aren’t meant to be sold, some words aren’t meant to be told" and "You see, the things that can’t be bought can’t be evaluated". Her uncomfort with the album makes me wonder if some of those stories are on the album Also the amount of times she references COCC in violet is fucking crazy I hope the production from violet also reflects in COCC, Quiet Waiter Blue Forever and Paradise is Very Fragile are just so sonically beautiful Give me that kind of magic Jack
  17. The only song that you should listen to before the albums out is LMLYAW because she needs that extra time to grow Like look at how everyone is saying "LMLYLAW is sounding really good lately" every other page, I'm just stating facts
  18. Not me thinking the 11+ replies were people answering the questions as to why we don't listen to singles as they come
  19. Personally I find the first listen/full album listen to be the most satisfying when its as much as a surprise as possible. I like to do this with all albums, but especially with Lana's cause her albums are so important to me. It just makes the album and shock and satisfaction so much better getting to hear everything from the era at once. I like to do this with everything like tv shows and videos, I like binging things all at once. I was waiting on an album recently actually that I was really excited for but I was listening to all the singles as they were coming out, and honestly it did affect the initial first listen of the album because I already knew bits and pieces of the album. It would be a new song, then a song I already heard and I'd be tempted to skip it even though I love it. And overall it was just not as satisfying as it would've been if a lot more of it was a surprise. Especially with an album thats 11 tracks long I want COCC to be as much as a surprise as possible.
