Why did Barrie quit his band?  That was a dumb move if he just left voluntarily.  I don't follow them at all but it seems they at least had a decent following in the UK.  He should try to regain traction over there.

Well he moved to L.A. with Lana and it would be very impractical and kind of unfair to the other band members if they always had to wait for him to be available to fly back to Scotland so they could play together. He explains it more here but he's pretty vague:

I think it's weird most of her friends are male. She seems to be really into being desired by men, like all of the men she meets, I mean she tries to flirt with every male interviewer ever, so it strikes me as odd that she has so many (to my knowledge) platonic relationships with men. Or maybe she sees other girls as competition? Idk

I personally didn't mind it when I saw her live, she restarted only, like 2 songs but was a wreck and barely sang 4-5 songs because she was crying or was just laying on the ground READING OFF THE LYRICS TO KRISTINE. Anyway, I don't even know how she's gonnna do the 38 shows lol. I enjoyed her show, but because she was cute and I didn't mind the little messes but other people who went to the show were really angry apparently because they thought she was terrible.

I think it depends on the kind of fan or person you are. Like, I'd gladly pay to watch Lana lie on the ground sobbing, singing terribly and reading off all of her lyrics but still being nice to everyone but people who want a good show would probably demand their money back.

She's always hanging out and eating/drinking with random dudes who drive her places, it's weird.

I think she'll drop out after a few dates like she did with Vampire Weekend. She doesn't seem to be capable of finishing one show let alone 38 shows within 2 months.

I saw them open at the Lana show I went to and I wondered what they were going to do with four guitars but it actually worked really well. Barrie had a stomp box (I think) and one of the others played keyboard on a few songs and the different guitar sounds they had worked together really nicely. They have some good songs but I'm not that big of a fan but they were really good live.

She called him like her artistic soulmate or something, like he has come closest to what she imagined. I don't really like his videos that much. I've only seen his videos for Lana and Taylor Swift but he strikes me as a bit of a one trick pony. Woodkid's Born to Die video was beautiful but Blue Jeans looked like a perfume ad or something so idk, maybe it depends on how much thought Lana puts into the video, like she came up with the entire idea for the Born to Die video so maybe that's why it's so good.

I don't think it's a different version, it's just the normal song with the sound effects and instrumentation of the trailer.

I read somewhere that Lana had made videos for all the demo songs off BTD, is that true? 

The record was shelved because they were hoping a bigger label would want to release it. And her legal name is still Elizabeth Woolridge Grant. She said somewhere that she made videos for all of the songs on her first record, I don't know about Born to Die.

A Star for Nick leaked by itself one and a half months before the rest of Sirens so it didn't have a fanmade title. And yes to the second question.

Barrie seems like such a sweet person but he looks/sounds pretty depressed or maybe high or maybe just really tired. I hope they're well. And Lana looks great actually, the flash just makes her look bad. Not sure what she's doing with her hair though, it makes her look old and tired, the colour just isn't right. She looked great with black hair when it was styled nicely and she'd always look good with lighter hair.
