  1. I think it's actually pretty great that Charli could give the visibility for these people who are "starting" yet are making their way on their own. People like Slayyyter really don't have support and the music is just fine, it's not like Charli herself is also some type of Bjork. Charli already stated making music just because she enjoys it, so there's nothing really GROUNDBREAKING like "She's too big for that" "for this" or whatever. It can be fun.

Also there's a possibility of like 80% of never seeing the light of day so...

  2. Collxtion II Unsolved tracks were really her artistic peak huh

And the lowest point to stan since it was an endless mess

    We still love her tho.

  3. rnBYGSLa_400x400.jpg

She's only 25, and worked on some pretty amazing stuff:

Yeah I remember hearing the name but I always thought it was a Man, never saw her. Lowkey how stupid that most of the time I thought it was a man just because of being a "music producer".

Anyway, I believe something is really coming February at least. Baby seems to be on the end of the it's road but not "OUT" yet so they'll probably wait til it really dies to drop a new song and both (marina \ clean bandit) can move forward.

    Hopefully won't be too late.

  4. I'm obsessed with this performance. I watch it at least once a day.

the swift conversion from curious to fan  :defeated: what songs/album did you start with?

omg sis like after playing all the songs on this page I decided to give it a full-go for albuns. Got "Be the Cowboy" since I knew it was the "newest one" and saw the post about Nobody being the "Pop-iest" thing she had done so.

Loved almost everything on first listen, even when I find it a bit awkward of how short the songs can be. But I was magnetized with Pink in the Night, Two slow Dancers, Washing Machine Heart, Why Didn't You Stop Me?...

Then I decided to go to Puberty 2 since Your Best American Girl was my favorite song on a first listen from this page. Just incredible. I bet on losing dogs, Once more to see you...

Her lyrics are honestly out of this world. So real, straight to the point, sharp as a knife.

I listened to every song with Genius open and reading lyrics and explanations was just AN EXPERIENCE. And for anyone wondering about listening, I'd warn you to do the same. Makes the songs 10x stronger.

the explanation about "A Pearl" got me sobbing because... yes. It's real.

I haven't listened to the other 3 albuns yet (well, some songs from "Bury me...") cuz I want to enjoy every little song from these 2. Then, when I feel the urgency for more, I'll go further.

  5. Where did this come from?

Also, Debut > OMG > Thief > Sorry

The leaked conversation with 24\7 back last year. Not to believe 100% but at this point I just believe after the way she teased stuff that really never happened and then mentioned about "production issues" (Cure and I think there were more songs that she mentioned not being happy with production? like Purge)

Not anymore, I'm back in Austria now unfortunately, but I was having it sent to my Austrian address anyway. But you're right, everybody else seems to have got it by now. I guess I'll wait a bit longer before I contact her (or Pony Club) though.

She mentioned on Twitter that people should ask Pony Club so I wouldn't wait too long sis!

  6. I've seem a lot of gays people going around about her and I'm curious. Gonna give her a try, the covers look beautiful on the first post lol

EDIT: SINCE this post is the first page and I'm already obsessed now, If you're wondering: YES LISTEN TO HER MUSIC.

  7. I wonder how she'll go for CLX III.  She seems to be still chillin' with the synthwave thing so that's interesting.

I like the way she mentions how super sunset happened "quick" and that could be a nice move for CLX III if she just creates something that works "sonically" without trying to dig a deeper concept and end up looking... well... "cheap" like CLX II.

We had tea about how in the middle of the process she had thousand unfinished demos for CLX II and just freaked out\started picking up the songs that were "mostly done" etc. It's a great album at all but it could be stronger. SS feels stronger.

    Theif > Debut & Sorry

These + OMG all belong together in my heart, amen.

  8. Ok this is really some type of fuckery that lana could solve but really ever since Ultraviolence she loves to mess around with release dates. It's just pretty clear that, not only Lana herself but managers\team\everyone knows that there are articles coming out saying the album is due to come out in March yet they're silent.

If they wait til April to then announce the album coming June...

    giphy.gif

Lust For Life fuckery was too much. But that wasn't worst than "Ultraviolence coming May 5" then May came and went.

For now, she mentioned the record being done and already the process of "mixing\mastering", even thought she repeated thousand times "IT TAKES TIME" it's just no way it takes 3 months to master 11 songs, not even if she was Bjork.

The whole "Lead single" talk is also bullshit because we all know it will be any random song without any radio-airplay-possibility and they won't invest on it, so it's just pointless to call the 3-already-released songs "promo". If we are lucky it means that at least she'll do a music video with some budget for whatever "lead single", but i'm still not really hopeful.

Hope is a dangerous thing and I really don't have it.

  9. I still trying to understand why she changed "OFFERING" to "DOWNTOWN" like... the chorus makes 10x more sense with Offering.

I guess "downtown" is just catchier nnn

  10. the last two lines of the Downtown muffled bridge vocals are

    "I still want a pin that I can't touch

I feel it scratching my mouth"

dead it makes sense. I always thought was something like "Nothing can stop me now"

  11. She also managed to make TSU "muffled" or whatever for the official release.

I died at All The Rage slander, honestly it's a good song but the weakest. Yet she released 2 official videos (Piano Version + Studio), there was a radio remix... and the song was paid dust nn

  12. That's why I think they should stick to ampitheatres. They sold well during Endless Summer.

I think the problem with Ampitheatres is the structure for the shows. I don't think it's the type of venue really famous outside USA (at least never heard of many outside USA). And the places she used to do shows like Paradise Tour could look a bit small now, just like the shows she did before LATTM and they all went sold out with seconds cuz scalpers but also many fans

Anyway, I believe she'll be doing shows. Let's wait til the record drops and see how it goes. I always imagined Honeymoon songs were also the "hardest ones" to be played live and that could be a reason she skipped most of the album.

  13. Probably. So let's get ready for her to perform This Is What Makes Us Girls, Without You and some others deep cutss from Born To Die lel.

But, for real, I think she'll be touring. The only time she really "skipped" was Honeymoon and well, we got Festival Tour which was interesting since it was someway a real tour that was projected for festivals. Not quite sure if it will be a "worldwide" tour tho. Endless Summer was a North American only.

I'd believe there's the possibility but after LATTM... I think they might take a break from really doing many shows with bigger venues.
