That’s so weird that she would delete the MV teaser and the first BB picture, but not the RCS June 1st and BB album out July 4th i can’t believe she has yet to acknowledge she released 3 singles. Even the post she made on Thursday that was quickly deleted with no caption would be enough maybe she’s prepping her feed for the announcement

I do too, but they’re piano songs with absolutely nothing else (Jack added a guitar in the final mix of HIAB, the first snippets she shared didn’t have them) All im saying is, is if she wanted certain things added to her songs she would have them in the songs. Everyone blamed Jack for the stripped back production and now everyone is asking for Rick back as if he wouldn’t be producing the exact sound we have now

Everyone is asking for Rick back as if the last songs he produced for her weren’t Change, Bartender, and HIAB. if she wanted a bombastic production with strings and whatever else Rick does, she would have gotten it. She went the direction she wants to go.

TJF definitely had a video, but it was the homemade one that Charlie shot with her, the same time she did the titty/truck picture. I do agree that the video she shot in November was probably planned to be for this album since she tweeted back in November around the time of shooting the video she was working on two albums, and she already had the Chemtrail’s video shot. I also don’t know how it works but I feel the vinyl sleeves don’t have to be printed as far in advance, I think it’s the pressing of vinyls that really takes time. I think it’s safe to say whatever that video is; we’re going to get it. I think it’s pretty much impossible with her being on a label that she can release an album without a video.

I will to this day defend her about this. She was clearly talking about when she was ‘done’ with Chemtrails, and it was true. Her and Jack didn’t get to even finish the record so it makes perfect sense she wouldn’t have 4 tracks for the next record, and she wasn’t going to announce or talk about her next record when the interview was for the lead single of an album still months away. I know her track record isn’t the best but she didn’t go into the interview just to lie, she had to be smart about what she said

I highly doubt the video is for BB because the press release called it a buzz single and she’s never had a full blown video for a buzz single. She probably repurposed the video for the BB snippet and when the lead single comes, it’ll come with the video she shared

I’m so curious to see how June 1st pans out. I’m honestly not expecting anything and COTCC + 3 new singles have given me more than enough that I’m not feeling impatient but I still wonder what’s gonna happen I really do think there’s going to be a fourth (lead) single soon with a video. it makes no sense if the video is for BB since it wasn’t dropped at the same time and dropping it now would be weird

Lust For Life will always be my favorite Lana album ever such a wonderful, happy, amazing time in my life... and the whole era, from Love leaking to finally seeing her in concert in 2018 will never be matched. I love how many directions it goes, I love the political songs, I love the colabs, I love the BAR demo, I love it all. My only true complaint is the album cover but it’s the Love video so even that is forgiven. It was nice of LFL to creep back into my 2021 by way of Yosemite! My ex and I were both super hyped about the song and super let down when it wasn’t on the track list..idk if he follows Lana anymore but I hope he heard it.

yes! i honestly agree, COTCC was the worst when we were getting acronym song lyrics i do feel like him hearing the album must mean it’s pretty much done and ready? Unless he’s just guessing it’ll be her best

it took me so long to realize EW meant Entertainment Weekly. I was so confused I’m glad they seem to like it, and any review that gets published is hopefully going to get more people to check it out. It’s so interesting that she hasn’t technically mentioned anything music related in almost a month she also broke her 20 day rule (even though new music came out the week of so maybe it counts?)

I know this is super delusional and the only ‘source’ of this was Darla, but what if RCS (or whatever it’s called) comes out next week with a video the ‘insider’ (and yes I know they were fake so don’t @ me) mentioned hearing the four songs and that was early in the week when we still assumed Blue Banisters was going to have a video maybe what BOZ couldn’t believe she was doing was releasing three buzz singles and then the ‘lead’ single a couple weeks later

i really don’t think so. She was very expressive of how COTCC wasn’t even a finished album, I find it hard to believe several songs were left off. There was an original track list with only two songs being blank, and Loved You Then and Now. I definitely think BB is a good progression from COTCC but I think they’re very separate bodies of work

I completely agree TB and WW flow super well into each other! The ocean and guitars at the end of TB into the light beautiful piano or WW is a whole mood! And I’ll have to make it so BB is last!

I agree that there isn’t much of an intro (WW is the only song with one so far) but I do think BB would be a good way to start the album (assuming the rest of it follows the three songs we got) it’s nostalgic, and sets the theme of looking back and healing even if BB isn’t track one like it should be (assuming the album is still titled BB) I just want them to be 3 songs in a row

It’s a great idea but the blue paint would be $75, the wildflower seeds would be $35 and the text book would be over $100

I really hope she released the songs in tracklist order (1- BB 2-TB 3-WW) because I have them in a playlist and the way I’ve been listening to them, they’re basically a 15 minute song and it’s going to throw me off super bad when we get the album and Textbook is track 2, WW is track 6 and BB is track 10

I find it accessible, but it definitely takes more time to get there...the first verse starting the way it does is a shock that’s hard to get used to, but the instrumentals and first prechours onwards really make the song super powerful plus it has the BLM line so people are going to continue to steam to see if it’s a big deal

I think the numbers are very appropriate for how deep the songs are and how little promo she gave them. LMLYLAW was announced, had a video, and released at midnight...Not to mention it’s more accessible to the GP. also I hope you all aren’t expecting bops still, that’s clearly not the direction she’s going

I never minded the selfie and although I miss the BTD mega-glam and UV rocker chick vibes, an album cover isn’t super important to me (although I know it is to some people) and will gladly buy the car selfie on vinyl I think the very first BB picture (the selfie with Blue Banisters in blue that @Diamantes WILD posted) has strong ‘album cover’ vibes since it clearly wasn’t the single cover, but when the music speaks for itself I don’t mind what the cover is. My only real complaint is getting the same selfie for all three songs, but them all being slightly different, I’d prefer them to be the same.
