I feel really bad hearing things like that! I get it’s super exciting things might be coming out, but self care should always come first. Personally, I’m at the age where I don’t even stay up for midnight releases anymore

Not the Lipsters losing sleep over a song that was never confirmed to be coming please make sure you’re all taking care of yourselves. Get sleep, go for a walk, drink some water. Music will come when it comes at this point

I can definitely see something like that happening! It’d be a nice bundle I feel, the boxset announcement with a single and video! Whenever it does happen I’m sure we’ll know it’s happening (even if it’s vague like MAC/VB “two end of summer jams out next week”)

Personally I don’t think A&W (or whatever single they decided to go with (assuming there is a second single)) is going to be surprise dropped. It’s not going to be a ‘omg is she dropping??’ There is going to be a clear date and probably a couple teases beforehand. The only true ‘surprise releases’ we get for singles is LMLYLAW (and we knew it was coming before the album we just didn’t know when) and the Trio in May. If there really is going to be a next single, I’m sure it’s going to have a video and proper announcement

She announced LMLYLAW Thursday afternoon for a Friday release but it was already “out” for like 10 hours before she announced it because it came out midnight locally

We needed tunnel in December so Lana could put up a billboard in Tulsa on Sean's birthday. She really should have just released the single without an album release date like LMLYLAW in October of 2020. Knowing the album release date (and all the insiders spilling) has made December and January go so slow. Hopefully the actual rollout starts now

tbh that means nothing. White Mustang, Happiness is a butterfly, and Tulsa jesus freak (and I'm sure there are others) all got snippets, but weren't singles

I thought the two week delay was due to physicals at first, but now that she was shooting things the last couple weeks of January, I have a feeling it may have been delayed for the album campaign

There have been a few signs pointing to A&W since January. Lana and Chuck's picture with Chuck's hair covering all but AW, and the caption "Angel Wisps" and then the instagram A&W caption with someone shouting "american whore" in the video plus it's Jack's favorite, and his previous favorites (The greatest, Chemtrail) were both released as singles

I didn't think we were getting any second single, but when she posted on instagram about A&W I did get a little hopeful I agree with this, and that's also why I don't want Taco Truck. It's one of my most hyped songs but I'd rather have the ending saved for the first album playthrough
