Anyone else curious about inZOI, this new Sims-like game? It's releasing early access on March 28th. I really hope Sims finally gets some real competition.

Olive Specter from TS2 Strangetown lol I don't really use CC for TS3 because it slows down my game, I think Sims 3 expansions and stuff packs have more than enough to make pretty Sims and houses (cus of color wheel and create a style thing), plus I got the entire Store which has a lot of my fave stuff

I think it's not 100% confirmed yet, we'll have to see. This article says The Sims 2 and Sims 1 Rereleases are set to come out on January 31st at 16:00 UTC on EA App first. With Steam possibly joining the fun very quickly afterwards.

Do you have Seasons? If not, definitely get it, it's the absolute best of all expansions in my opinion. It adds so much to your gameplay whichever world you're playing in, a lot of new activities, holidays, festivals with so much to do etc. And the scenery throughout the seasons is amazing, its so well-made. After Seasons and Supernatural (my two faves), the next in line of faves is probably Generations because it adds a ton of new stuff to do across all life stages, so it also largely improves your gameplay in general. Other expansion packs focus on specific things, like careers (Ambitions and Showtime), late night life, celebrities, big city life (Late Night), travelling (World Adventures and Into the Future), pets, university, etc. I think the thing about TS3 is there aren't bad expansions, it just all comes down to what you'd like to add and what kind of gameplay you prefer.

So excited it's actually happening! Watch them slap a price on TS2 when ultimate collection was free 10 years ago Mine still works well and I hope it stays that way. Sims 2 is such a perfect game it doesn't need a remaster tbh, it's so cozy and camp when I get to pretend to live in 2005 and have my Sims use a landline wall phone I'd love to see a Sims 3 remaster tho, that poor game is SCREAMNG for help in terms of fixes it needs Maybe for 35th anniversary or something lol. Also very excited to get back to sims 1, it's been like 84 years.

TS3 update got me so hyped that something might be happening but it seems it's just a fix for the game to run on newer Intel processors and that's it... However, EA recently revealed their 25 year Sims anniversary celebration, and there's some kind of "nostalgia now" content coming at the end of January, and fans are speculating it could be a Sims 1 and/or Sims 2 re-release, you can read about it here. I'd give them money for any non-Sims 4 title I think it could be them just re-releasing Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on the EA App. I got mine in like 2015 when they had that free limited deal for it, so it'd be amazing if they at least brought it back for everyone to be able to have it. I'm not really counting on them updating the older games cus it's EA...
