Chemtrails is Lana's worst album, but Solar Power doesn't have standout tracks such as White Dress or COCC. They are much better than anything on here. Critics agree. Lorde created a parody album and it's not worth the 4 years wait.

I imagine Lana following a Kate Bush career trajectory and... I'm okay with that. Kate released many albums in the '80s, including Hounds Of Love, a very impactful record. Then she released The Red Shoes in 1993 and it was received not that great and after that, Kate stopped doing shows and making music for 12 years. She made a comeback in 2005, then another in 2011, and played her last concert in 2014. I think Lana will do the same thing. Lana made a lot of albums in the '10s, Born To Die is very impactful and NFR! is very acclaimed, she established herself as an icon at this point. I think Blue Banisters will be her The Red Shoes, aka her last album for years, and the album that will make her fanbase divisive. She will live a normal life after, maybe have a kid, and only after a long period, she will return with another great record. No shows/tours either.

Oceanic Feeling is 2/3 of Venice Bitch, so it doesn't count. Anyway, she is so pretentious and got dragged in the comments/quotes for good.

It's not even 2-3 months anymore, during the COVID era it takes 2x time for vinyls to get done. Taylor released evermore in December 2020 and vinyls shipped in May 2021, Billie finished her new album in January and released it with vinyls in July. If Lana's album is not done, then we have to wait until 2022.

Locals will turn the album off right away after that.

And NFR! is her most successful album since Ultraviolence. The point is pretty much here. The problem with COCC is that it wasn't promoted at all and her team relied only on physical sales.

If you think about it, 'White Dress' is, probably, her most experimental song ever (among officially released ones). And it's very risky to start a whole album like that because these vocals are a big turn-off for many people (let's not forget how teens dragged WD on TikTok). She still has that fire, she's exploring new things and not afraid to do so, and I'm very positive about an upcoming album. Sorry, but "My body is a map of LA" is already ICONIC.

Fuck these 16-track tracklists, I want 21 tracks + 3 interludes.
