just finished… i have so many thoughts. i’m definitely gonna need more time with it before i name any favorites. but i will say this is possibly my favorite ldr album ever. since at least norman. but i think it’s really gorgeous and important. i just know she’s really proud of this one.

everything about this album is gorgeous i just love it. i couldn’t be happier.

the electric guitar in the back of margaret reminds me so much of the end of mariners

this feels like an absolute concept album to me.

the beginning of margaret sounds like nfr and venice bitch together

let the light in sounds like a mamas and the papas x carpenters song

oh let the light in starting like this… i didn’t realize i would be hearing the best album of all time today.

THE FUCKING DROP ON JB INTERLUDE WITH THE LAUGHING… THIS IS SO DARK SIDE OF THE MOON VIBES. LITERALLY WHAT IS THIS ALBUM. lana is seriously one of the most innovative to do it.

this is easily in her top 3 albums, her melody writing has gotten so innovative and interesting. like, candy necklace is just fucking insane i love it.

judah interlude feels very much ironic to me. it feels like in context of the album she’s criticizing the church. i don’t know, maybe it’s the dark instrumental tone, but it just feels so right.
