I think her voice is much fuller now than what it used to be- especially the higher notes. Her voice was thin in BTD/UV. Currently he mix voice is so beautiful and angelic, well rounded . Much more clarity and resonance in her higher register(compare WD vs PT). Her lower register isn't showcased as much as before.(yes it is present on OB but I wish it was highlighted more). I think it's mostly got to do with the compositions(maybe Rick had a more traditional structure with more lower notes)?

Because those 3 albums had insane promo with MVS, radio interviews and social media presence. Ocean is doing very good on the charts too. 3 weeks in top 30. With the titty vinyl, sales will increase more when they're shipped. She's just getting started with the promo. Norman had the push from DCMA too.

She did do a bit of promo but nowhere near as LFL/NFR. With all the radio shows, the MVs, the ice cream truck and stuff.

It sold well with physicals(only because it was a comeback album after 6 years) + Easy On Me. That's it. None of the other tracks really left a mark on the GP. Her streams didn't get a boost either - she gets 7-8M everyday.

the NFR strings in A&W. The love song callback in Margaret. 2nd chorus of Grandpa. Last chorus of OB when the guitar kicks in . The bridge of LTLI is surreal. Should've been used on the outro as well.

OB is definitely NFRs sister- lyrically and thematically. They're the yin and yang. Chem and BB sound like sister albums to me.

Considering how massively 30 underperformed- No. Adele has been doing just a mild variation of the same album for years. 21 is her magnum opus and rightfully so.

I feel OB does bring in a bit of the atmosphere you're talking about. Especially the title track/CN/Grants.

Arcadia is pretty with a gorgeous melody and intention. BB isn't a phenomenal album like UV/NFR/OB/HM. But it's miles better than what other artists put out. Like Solar Power.

Why though? CB/LL/NOTG were highly praised before they were on BB. Then you've career highlights like BB/WFWF/Thunder. The rest are OK too. It isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Her live version >>>>>>>>>
