Have you ever been to this venue? Any idea how long in advance we should start queuing with an early entry ticket to get to the barrier?

Ok but why is this bridge thing a thing now? I read it a lot here and like it’s ok if a song does not follow the standard verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge-chorus structure. I actually prefer it when a song is written in a way that it just goes wherever the artist wants it to go, makes it less predictive. Look at Venice Bitch or the greatest, there’s a guitar solo in between stanzas, no bridge and quite a long coda but still a beautiful song. That said, I get that Lana is a divisive artist, some may prefer her more mainstream side, others might dig her Lizzy vibes. I honestly love both except when she goes ugly mainstream like she did L4L which to these days I still think it’s one of her ugliest released songs.

LOL ok good news. At this point, seeing where she’s going with NFR and how it fits its own narrative the way all her previous works did exception made for L4L, it’s even more clear to me how L4L must have been a marketing move she was pressured into by her label. Sure there are a few songs that feel honest but most of it has always sounded to me like a bunch of tracks she threw in the mix and said “it’s for the fans”. I’m just assuming here but if that’s the case I admire her for standing up for her vision and saying fuck you to the big bosses and putting out the songs she wants to (like she did when Venice Bitch came out) and, in this perspective, The Greatest might be about her saying you know what I’ll take the chance of getting kicked out and do shit my way. What do you guys think?

Well we don’t know that. I like to think that maybe she’s implying she’s quitting the big industry or interscope to do something more low-key and independent. Does anybody know how long she’s signed with her current label for? On a separate note, I can see that no one has mentioned HTD , like I am legit convinced Jack ruined a perfectly beautiful song with a half assed midi production, the beats from the snippets were so ugh and this silence seems telling. Overall I’ll admit I am hyped for NFR, I like the surfy end of summer beach vibe to it, exception made for Hope which reaaally feels like it won’t fit the narrative and imo it should have stayed a single but it’s her baby so whatever. Also is everyone sleeping on her Lana Del Ray AKA Lizzy Grant ? That record has one hell of a production and (I am going to get beheaded here) can easily surpass L4L which is imo her worst record to date. Go on murder me but do know I’m new here so go easy on me.
