I’m not really feeling the demos/leaked songs being on the album yet. The songs feel thrown on, the songs have been homeless for years and it feels weird they will have a home.  These demo songs ‘tell her story’ ? I’m not really buying that, I think she just needed songs to fill up the album so just pulled them out the draw.

There’s no way she doesn’t put heart and soul into everything she does. I think every song she writes, records, wether it’s produced now or later, is meaningful to her. We just get it at different times in life.
Also, Interscope may have had a lot to do with the songs they want on the album. Either way - I’m excited. Just in time for my birthday. Oct 17 ?

  3. Fuck, you guys.

So much substance in her simple posts. So much meaning in a quick 5 second story. I'm gonna fucking miss her so much.

What does this mean when it comes to music festivals and performances? Is she for real just going off the grid??

Maybe I'll run into her at Western Bagel on Santa Monica Blvd. one of these mornings. That's where she usually gets coffee / breakfast.

Truly fucking heartbroken, but support her decision 100%. Maybe this is what she needs for mental clarity / inspo.

Social media can fuck u up big time. Maybe I should go on a social media pause....... lmao

    Agreed

This comment burns my eyes, what is the reason?? Who could ever maintain an erection while listening to Lana Del Rey?? Put on some deep house, dirty funk, techno, passionate bedroom indie, emotional ambient. Music that has a groove to it and is actually sensual.

Not everyone fucks the same. If that’s your go to ok. There’s meaning to sex and Lana has meaning in music. No judgement.

We all know she is going to post a picture of her girl gang. Probably Val sipping on a cocktail and waving with an U.S. flag. I will never understand why americans enjoy this pathos and kitsch, but yeah, have fun celebrating :oopna2:

Anyway, why are so many acting so emotional? It‘s literally a music album, nothing serious. We will either have new music then or we won‘t. If it turns out that Lana gave us once again a fake date, then what? Life goes on.

We are American, it’s what we do. ??

yeah I always just revisit the OTHER 7 albums she has graced us with and wait patiently for a sign. Which, from Lana is like an obscure tweet or a story on Instagram for 24hr giving us an update.

    Not mad ??‍♂️

I once heard from a college professor that some men tend to be afraid or hated of everything they cannot understand because, in their mentality,

it is these things that make them ignorant. Thinking that way, Lana scares them because she was always a mystery to them. ;) :oic3:

During my Qualitative Methods course in college, we had to choose a music video of an artist and explain to the class what we think the motive / meaning is behind it to the class so I chose Summertime Sadness and we played it on the projection in front of the whole class with the lights out.

Biggest mistake of my life. I was referred to the college counselor and was almost 51/50'ed because she was afraid I was suicidal not to mention the LOOKS straight men gave me in class. LOL.
