Somerset, ENG @ Glastonbury Festival - June 24th, 2023

If I am paying £160 for a ticket to see her show (not that the cost should be an issue), I expect to see the full show! If she pitched up late and the show is cut short as a result, is that ok? No, it isn't ok! If the show was allowed to run its course, then perhaps it's not such an issue. Except then you have people who need to catch the last train home for example. The same thing happened with Madonna. Late onto stage, people had to leave early to get the last train missing some of the show and/or her shows were cut short because of curfew. Singers aren't any better than you or I. Some think they don't have to abide by the same rules. Well they do! Time is the most precious thing we all have, and if someone is always late for you, then they are disrespecting your time; is their time is more important that your time? Absolutely not! PS: I can assure you, I am NEVER late for work because i respect my time and that of those around me. As for the hairdresser, her going out for a ciggie doesn't affect the quality of my hair; the dr's surgery are busy and my appointment is delayed doesn't affect my actual appointment. Your argument is null and void. 100% some people will excuse their idols anything. I will not; i hold them to the same standards I hold myself to. -

Actually it was more concern because she looked like she was tweeking which is not a good look. I was watching with friends on the TV and they both asked me what was wrong with her. If it's anxiety, that's an awful thing to suffer from and I hope she can get passed that so she can enjoy performing. Perhaps because it was close u on TV that it was highlighted; I've never seen her like that before. -

@Louise I do appreciate ballet and have been to the ballet on many an occasion. No criticism of their dancing, just of it's place in the show. I just felt it unnecessary. -

- I like this guy In defence of Lana Del Rey’s tardiness No - you can't make excuses for someone lateness... she didn't know she was on? She was watching GNR? Who knows. If it was technical then fine, but that's the only acceptable reason to be late on stage. Sound carries, that's why there's a curfew. That person is so entitled; it's not all about 'their' experience. And to say she's a poetess and that's a good enough reason - I'm embarrassed for them. Absurd. -

My first opportunity to comment on the Glastonbury show. Firstly, do not come on late. No one is above the curfew, and the same will apply in Hyde Park. (I have stopped going to Madonna concerts because of her constant lateness and I wont tolerate it from any artist. The most precious thing we have is time, and someone can't respect my time, then I will not be spending my time on them (technical issues are different.) I don't buy the 'hair' excuse. Secondly, the whole doing her hair moment onstage is the tackiest ting I've ever seen at a concert. Why? Thirdly; the dancers were completely superfluous to requirement. Perhaps she needs them so she doesn't feel on her own but it was tacky. Fourth; Lana was almost tweeking on stage; what the hell was she doing sometimes with the mouth, hands and facial expressions? Either anxiety or she's on something. Fifth; lets finish on a high, her vocals were probably the strongest I've heard her. She was soooooo good. -

It's nothing to do with her whether she gets broadcast or not. But she WILL be Broadcast because she's one of the headliners. -

Just as expected, 6 BTD era tracks. I'm happy with the tracklist, though would have loved to have seen Grandfather or Mariners on there. -
Loreen was amazing, and Mae Mullers position was 'deserved' - crap song, poor performance. I loved Portugal - was my personal 3rd fave and it's on a playlist now.

Lana will have to make the setlist as commercial as possible I assume, as this isn't a 'stan' gig, this is a general audience concert. And also because she's doing a lot of festivals, they same applies. I expect it to be quite BTD heavy (singles wise at least) but hey, she's Lana, she'll do as she pleases. Lol. -

Gold circle bought. I promised I'd never pay prices like this for tickets anymore, but I figure she tours so rarely in the UK, and hopefully the support acts will make it even more worth it. -

I hope she does some proper dates in the UK; I have only seen her twice, once at Lovebox in 2012 and then at the Brixton Academy in 2017. Unfortunately I had to sell my tickets in 2013 as I was in a play. I was GUTTED. She NEVER does a proper tour in the UK. I've created an 'expanded' DYKTATUOB playlist which includes the sampled/referenced tracks that add's a little extra to the album. (And the Paris and Grandfather samples are major!) Have a I missed anything? (I didn't add VB as it's quite a major sample already.) The Grants Rocky Mountain High - John Denver Did You Know... Don't Forget Me - Harry Nilsson Sweet Wait For Life - Emile Haynie A&W Shimmy Shimmy Ko Ko Bop - Little Anthony And The Imperials Judah Smith Interlude Candy Necklace (ft John Batiste) Jon Batiste Interlude Kintsugi Fingertips Paris (Texas) - ft SYML I Wanted To Leave - SYML Grandfather... ft RIOPY Flo - RIOPY Let The Light In - ft Father John Misty Margaret - ft Bleachers Fishtail Peppers - ft Tommy Genesis Angelina - Tommy Genesis Taco Track x VB Could add 'Secret Life' after Margaret, and 'Buddys Rendezvous' after Let The Light In.

I listen to this album in 2 ways. The first, if I am on short journeys in the car, i play random songs from the 2nd half of the album from Paris (Texas) on for a sing-a-long; if it's long journeys or have time then I will play the full album, but nothing before Paris. 1. Grandfather 2. Paris, Texas 3. Margaret 4. Let The Light In 5. Taco Truck 6. Peppers 7. The Grants 8. Candy Necklace 9. A&W 10. Ocean Boulevard 11. Kintsugi 12. Fingertips 13. Fishtail 14. Sweet 15. Jon Batiste Interlude 16. Judah Smith Interlude
