I believe she was already thinking of shaking things up with "Janet Album"... I think they called it that way because it is probably a retro 80s inspired new jack swing album. That would be in fashion with the vintage music comeback in trend rn and if you think about it, Sophie and A.G. would be very capable of creating a refashioned version of new jack swing with their loud beats and noises.

Who knows if she still plans to or wants to release new music this year as she had previously stated. HIFN was so good but idk it always felt like something for quarantine and more of an appetizer, not the main dish... But it seems to me that she has completely abandoned that idea. 

LFL era was the best we had in a while. Maybe music wasnt top knotch but we were fed. It was Lana Del Rey's renaissance.

its only been two years since a sophie album y'all, plus she released a remix album only last year. stop being delusional.

And only like 3 or 4 tracks in that album had replay value.
