I have a list of 10 songs that was sent to a producer for additional production so maybe Lana was referring to those?

    Crazy For You

    Freak

Get High (High by the Beach)

    God Knows I Tried

    Honeymoon

    Ice Cream (Salvatore)

    Pink Flamingos (MTWBT)

    Religion

    Say Yes To Heaven

    Swan Song

Probably not these. The songs in bold were recorded after she did that interview.

  2. Are all the STINT demos from 2014?

I believe they are all from 2015. Rick and Lana recorded the songs that were later reworked by STINT from September-December 2014, minus God Knows I Tried. Just like she did with her demos from UV, she let other producers do some additional work on the songs previously recorded by Rick. The STINT demo of Freak clearly builds on Ricks production.

STINT's demos are likely from EARLY 2015. They were likely done after God Knows I Tried was written and recorded by Rick and Lana (unless he didn't produce that version). She is known for usually going back to her original ideas and concepts after letting others work on the songs.

omg lana was lying again? from 2014 we have 12 songs but from a billboard interview from jan 6, 2015 there was said: "Lana Del Rey has nine songs written for her next album, Honeymoon -- four of which "the production is perfect I'm looking for a few more songs to tie everything together". as a non-native english speaker, I understood that she meant that 4 songs out of 9 have perfect production, right?

    the article: https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/lana-del-rey-big-eyes-honeymoon-album-interview-6429534/

Interviews tend to get published a few months after they were done. So, probably November.

Without an official statement, all's left to do is to wait and see. Time will tell us the truth (or not)

As Capitol Records' rep has denied the speculation, based on what we've got from experiences with Sky, it can also be a false hope and nothing's happening and for this record label to erase Sky from their website and never acknowledge the situation publicly... I'm led to believe that: they've really parted ways and expecting the right moment to announce it, or they really put her aside (as if she wasn't, anway(based on her allegations)) or she finally got a lawyer and they really got pissed and did what they did.

I'm not an expert but what if she's not free and they finally put her aside as if she were nothing? Sky has been calling them out and that's basically would be their saying.

Back when Natalia Kills did her thing on the X Factor, she was removed from her label's official roster shortly after.

Tinashe has released a lot of stuff too ever since she got out of her contract and went independent.

there’s no “rickboards jackboards emileboards” because LANA is the writer of her songs :biblio: and taylor is currently the biggest pop star and she writes everything including her biggest hits….

and yea of course you don’t have to be a writer to be a star, i don’t think anyone was saying that, just our personal preference for artists is they write their music.

Difference is that Taylor’s music sucks.

There’s a fight going on between madison love and Ava max currently with these credits being suggested that Ava writes very little.

  6. Whenever I think of how to re-arrange a tracklist, I separate the album into groups that I feel male sense sonically or thematically.

In recent times, this has been popularised by artists like Taylor Swift where they release an album as mini-EPs that tell a certain story. I think Lana's albums work very well for this and I would like to read some of your ideas/concepts.

Here's a rough idea for Born To Die:

    SIRENS

(The duality of the word: sirens of police cars, indicating a crime or the mermaid serenading her love interest and luring them to death)

    Born To Die

    Blue Jeans

    Dark Paradise

    LOLITA

(The songs evoke a strong imagery of a young girl living in NYC and escaping with her much older sugar daddy to go to Las Vegas)

    Lolita

    Diet Mountain Dew

    Off To The Races

    OPULENCE

(These songs are perfectly represented by the National Anthem video. Lana being both, Jackie O AND Marilyn)

    National Anthem

    Million Dollar Man

    Without You

    PARTY GIRLS

(The story of two girls who have a deep connection with each other but fall victim to alcohol and drug abuse and thus get separated)

This Is What Makes Us Girls

    Carmen

    Summertime Sadness

    BITTERSWEET

(Finding happiness through a fulfilling relationship or through fame, although both with a slightly bitter taste because everything comes at a price)

    Video Games

    Lucky Ones

    Radio

Tropico movie score EP deserved to be released physically, not in iTunes or other streaming service "special" only :true:

Tropico needed a Cola segment idc.

That song being the most iconic yet the only one without a video aside from American pains me to this very day.

Actually, two short films would have been so cool:

    Ride / Cola / American

Body Electric / Gods & Monsters / Bel Air

chemtrails over the country club (the song) is overrated, somebody had to say it, is it a great song? yes, one of her absolute best? ...no

I would like to co-sign this. I also dislike it more now that it permanently replaced Flipside on her live set!

  9. I was perched for this album after Attention and Pain The Town Red but it turned out to be quite heavy on the fillers. The tracks kinda blur into one another cause there is not much standout material on it, sadly.

Still hilarious to read through this thread and see the same haters be adamant she'll never release anything yet sit boasting about and refusing to share hacked files! Just bizarre.

    It’s so sick and twisted.
