  5. lmao fuck when i did better research i noticed that he hasn't even produced the songs i mentioned i just looked at the albums sometimes i really should just shut my mouth but you can just search 'mike dean production discography' and you will find the albums/songs he has participated on, some of the songs include 'love drought' by beyoncé, 'yellow flicker beat' by lorde & 'ni**as in paris' by jay-z & kanye (and overall many of kanyes songs which slap)
  6. i love his work omg PLEASE LANA it doesn't have to be rap but i'd die for some trippy music alá kid cudis marijuana or angry rock like don't hurt yourself from yoncé
  7. if cocc would be an 8 song ep, would it be better than paradise? what songs would be gone?

trying to stay positive that we will have it soon but yeah considering how some of her stans are it's possible that they will spend huge amounts of money for it and then just won't leak it

thanks!!! but whatever the price, i have a feeling that we won't have to wait too long until someone buys it because of how rarely stuff from her leaks

  12. just woke up and can't imagine how ben and ed must feel like omg
  13. i was waiting for this post! didn't she mention during the pre-pre-release thread that she was planning an album where each song would fit a certain zodiac sign? i was eager to hear what songs would suit each sign and i think your list is quite on point! white dress + libra was not something i had thought, but i can kinda see it now. there is also something really scorpionic in it i think, must be the emotion in her voice and the nostalgy that is present in the lyrics
  14. hope everyone is enjoying the record as much as i am! i'm curious to know - what do you think about the track listing and in what order do you listen to the tracks? do you like the original one or have you created a one for yourself? do you have songs that you think need to be listened side by side? and since no one asked, here's mine: even though i can see why lmlylaw wouldn't work very well as a single, i definitely think that it sounds great as the album opener, an intro to the title track. "i'm ready to leave LA" / "i'm on the run with you, my sweet love"
  15. what the fuck guys 14 hours ago i received a message from MediaMarkt that my alt cover cd had been sent from their warehouse or sumn and just now they sent a message that they have received my returned package back in germany and they will soon return my money does anyone have a similar experience? this was my first time ordering from them lmao
  16. i was so excited to hear this album because of how tangled its creating process seemed to be with nfr - would one of the albums be clearly better than the other? and for the longest time it's been so hard to rank lanas albums because all of them have had like two/three truly incredible songs and that did not change after cocc like for nfr the big moments were venice bitch & the greatest, for cocc definitely white dress and maybe the title track (i need a few more listens before i can say for sure)

when future nostalgia got released i was so hyped (and still am tho i love the album so much) and also proud because she stepped up her game so much, amazing music, visual content and the amount of promo but then she released the moonlight edition and i was took back because even if some of the songs are 'okay' it just is not satisfying or cohesive piece of work anymore... i thought she as an artist was past of adding random remixes and basic pop singles to her album just for streams and cash okay of course i dunno how much she even has to say because of how the business can be sometimes but you know i'm just sad that one of the greatest pop eras in years got like this
  19. i have a feeling that hey blue baby and i must be stupid for being so happy would sound great on cocc i need the studio versions
  20. i truly think that either folklore or future nostalgia could win AOTY and they'd both deserve it. not only did both do great in sales and critical acclaim (not that neither would be the most important factor) but they both raised a lot of discussion, and, i also think that they both captured or represented something special during this pandemic. future nostalgia is the neon-coloured and glittering anthem of staying hopeful and cheerful during all of this and the soundtrack to dreaming/reminiscing of clubs and parties when everything gets shut down. folklore on the other hand, captures the essence of lockdown and seclusion, when there truly is nothing else left to do than to walk around in nature while looking back to old relationships and figuring out how you'd turn those memories into stories in terms of genre and musical elements they are so different from each other, but i can't help but to see them as yin and yang, because of they both represent nostalgia so beautifully even though all of this sucks and you know, people are losing their jobs and dying future nostalgia as being nostalgic not only about life before covid, but also about the future and better days ahead folklore as being nostalgic about everything from the past when you've been left alone with boredom and your thoughts and memories
  21. sooo one time i was scrolling through random lana discussion (i think) and i saw someone making a comment about how "love song is the heart of nfr". and now, before cocc releasing i've been listening to her earlier albums a lot. and i thought about love song and how i've gotten the feeling that especially in this fandom it is often described as something boring that does not bring necessarily anything new to lanas discography, at least not lyrically (which is true lmao) and i also started to think that maybe it's not a song that necessarily belongs to NFR, but its more of a song that could find its place in any of her albums. i kinda get the same feeling about american BUT STILL these songs are the ones that paint the aesthetics of each era in my mind most vividly. like when i think about NFR, i think about love song (or maybe the guitars from the greatest) and when i think about paradise, i think about american. and i had this idea to ask you guys - what songs do you see as the heart of each album? or what song do you think first when someone mentions an album of hers? songs that in your mind paint a picture of the aesthetics of each era?
  22. i'm so excited for this album! i haven't listened to anything yet - no singles, no snippets, no live performances. and i've actually seen several comments here about lana herself saying how she feels uncomfortable or something listening to this album and that is sooo intriguing i mean for me it seems that she may sometimes have hard time being straightforward and honest and she can't make up her mind about a song so she edits them a lot and they don't always end up better than they originally were (lfl title track for example). so if she for now has just created shit from her heart and decided that it was okay enough to be released i think we're in for a ride
  23. ummm... i don't mean to be a bummer but i don't think they say anywhere that it's actually signed by lana del rey, they just describe the stuff as 'signed litho' or 'signed art card' i'd love to have something signed by her but it's truly hard for me to believe that she'd personally take her time to sign all of these things like aren't there a lot of signed items especially this era
