After she first started quoting those ridiculous prices to people, I figured she'd end up getting whittled down to lower numbers, but $25 for songs she was originally asking $200 for is insane. Also, the fact that she's getting mad that people are leaking the songs...honey, what the fuck did you expect to happen? I'm glad I didn't buy anything from her. I'll just sit back and relax as more stuff inevitably leaks. I know there's plenty more around that hasn't come to light yet, like Traces.

Party Song is 2010. Replay is either late 2012 or early 2013.
-
Nope, No Angels and Land of the Rebels are two different songs.
-
She sold Salt & Honey? Welp, I guess she's scrapped all her release plans for the tracks she was holding back.

Randomly looked through the Cruel Youth Last.fm page today and found out that someone has scrobbled "Painting Out the Sun", "Nothing to Say" and "Someone to Die For", this week, as well as a track titled "Time Bomb", which I've never heard of before.
-
The verses are taken from a live performance. This is definitely just a fan edit.

Party Song leaked. I don't think it's the only version that exists of the track, because the previously leaked snippets sound very different.

Teddy's version of Coma leaked. https://soundcloud.com/whothehellisvioletrose/coma-demo

We actually do know that Devil in Paradise was a pitched song initially, so that doesn't necessarily serve the point. She had written it for that Ronnie Spector EP that never ended up coming together.
-
Is this an album tracklist or....? Edit: Ah, I see. New registrations.

Another snippet, featuring her demo of Coma, mashed up with Kiiara's version. https://twitter.com/UpdateTeddy/status/1257777453621223429

It was the second album concept out of like four she went through before Night Time, My Time. The first concept was called Cry Baby. The second was Wild at Heart. After that, it was I'm Not Alright. The final one before she settled on Night Time, My Time was I Will.
-
Nope! The official title is "The New Black". Traders passed it around as "You Don't Know Me".
-
Are you asking if the full song is leaked? The answer to that question would be yes. https://mega.nz/file/fIlmGKQS#t_XL3w_bujFChv-4x0LGylTlvfFGqKRRzDeftGTMjRw

Almost all of her leaked unreleased music is from that era.
-
I mean, if you bothered to look back like two or three pages, you'd see that it has been posted about before, pretty extensively. She only sold two songs or....? 'Cause I've heard it's at least a dozen new tracks that are now circulating because of her selling.
-
I know that. I'm just saying that her selling stuff flooded the market and either directly or indirectly caused all those leaks.
-
Yeah, we know. It's not the first time she's announced it and she's already sold a lot. It's why the recent leaks happened (Downtown, Last Chapter, Alien, etc.).
-
Yeah, the "Florida Blues" and "Alexis Texas" versions leaked then were definitely demos and I think that version of "I Don't Love You" had a slightly different mix.
-
Yes, the kind of '60s rock sound that "When I'm Looking at You" has is emblematic of The Powder Room material up to this point. Strictly speaking, though, I would not be stressing over how to delineate what songs belong to each project. A lot of the stuff that just leaked was written to be pitched to other artists and sold, making it a moot point to say whether it's The Powder Room or Cruel Youth, since it's technically neither. I just label everything she does these days as Cruel Youth, since it makes sorting in my iTunes library much easier.

Did anybody who had the original files happen to have more info on the unregistered songs, as far as who the cowriters beyond Teddy were? Still need that info for all these songs: Happiest Girl Madness [the Natalia Kills era song] New Winter Say Anything Straitjacket When I'm Looking at You
-
I mean, she's a registered Democrat and so is all her family. All that "centrist" stuff she's talked about before isn't really reflective of anything she's actively supported.

There's a million sites out there where you can just plug in an Instagram username and get download links to all their stories that are currently available.

Pretty sure we've always placed it in the post-Trouble, pre-Cruel Youth era (evidently alongside "Straitjacket" and "Madness").
