  1. I feel like everyone's forgetting that Lana was a philosophy major in college. She's clearly done some reading about existentialism and I would sooner believe that she was at Hillsong just to see the spectacle than she was to actually worship. Keep in mind that she owns a copy of Anton LaVey's "The Satanic Witch", a book whose major purpose is to critique modern religion. She's not dumb.
  2. Another new one. She posted a photo of the lyrics and asked for suggestions first. It's titled "Broken". https://www36.zippyshare.com/v/zkHQEPlH/file.html
  3. Here's all the snippets of new stuff from her Instagram stories. She's been posting a bunch over the last few days. https://www41.zippyshare.com/v/Y1zdclYB/file.html https://www41.zippyshare.com/v/fXTy4ugT/file.html https://www41.zippyshare.com/v/JpQ6A2c2/file.html https://www81.zippyshare.com/v/mgzYcl6G/file.html https://www81.zippyshare.com/v/NHUcxHKP/file.html https://www24.zippyshare.com/v/OXtV6Vqr/file.html
  4. It's not up to her to choose when to drop details like that. Interscope and Polydor control distribution, so she has to follow their chosen release timeline. We'll probably find out the tracklist when a pre-order is posted early by some small retailer.
  5. This one wasn't a label problem. She was reaching out to producers and directors for the Cherry video, but all of them said that they wouldn't be able to execute her vision, which probably means it was going to be too ambitious to be shot, edited and released in a short period of time.
  6. Nah, I think you just have shitty headphones. Whine more, though; It's quite entertaining.
  7. You say exciting and fascinating, we say weebstatic and cringey. This is a weird time to support her, given that she was just getting blasted for posting what essentially amounts to child pornography on her Twitter account, not to mention her hypocritical dating of Elon "Insane Capitalist" Musk when she's advocated for basically full communism in the past.
  8. Petition to lock this thread until the 9th so ya'll quit your fucking whining every two seconds.
  9. Yes, it's definitely a Jack track and likely always was. They started working together around January 2018 and she posted the first HIAB snippet a few months after that.
  10. From "Sylvia" to "Sylvia Plath" to this. If we gave her another week, the title would probably just be the full lyrics of the song.
  11. Info leaking is not the same thing as content leaking. There's practically an expectation that some info will get out before a project is released, unless you're spending millions to keep things under wraps, which is essentially something that only artists like Beyoncé can do. There are a few dozen points of failure for an album that isn't yet released yet and almost all of them have been shored up to the degree that nearly anyone who participates in the unlawful sharing of an album before release will be caught and face consequences.
  12. Leaks don't work like that anymore. Security has improved immensely from even just a few years ago. Material from high profile artists that is scheduled for release practically never leaks before being released in some territory, these days.
  13. Instagram accounts that say "[reputable news source] confirmed that [event] is happening" without linking to a source are lying 100% of the time.
  14. That wasn't actually Bradley Soileau who tweeted that. His psychotic ex-wife Porcelain Black thought he was cheating on her with Lana back when they were still married and tweeted a bunch of nasty shit on his account. It was all completely unfounded and pretty much assuredly false.
  15. If she tried to fight their NDA, they'd just tie her up in court for years, forcing her to spend thousands of dollars on lawyers until she was out of money and had to drop the case. It's not worth the effort.
  16. They wrote a song titled "Cherry Tree" together, but it was only going to feature Kali's vocals. It didn't make the cut for Kali's album, but Teddy talked about it in her livestream a few weeks back, saying it was really good and that she wanted Kali to release it at some point.
  17. Nah, let's keep that gross pedophile enabler far, far away from Lana.
  18. She never said anything of the sort. People stupidly believed a fake article from some irrelevant news source that claimed it was standalone, despite her having never specifically said it was anything other than an album track.
  19. She literally said "We just made these for fun"(i.e. these are not on the album).
  20. The Grimes thread is over here: http://lanaboards.com/index.php?/topic/276-grimes/ Please stay there forever, so I never have to see her cringey hypocrite ass again <3
  21. What she's done with the album title would absolutely qualify as a form of protected free speech. It's not libelous or slanderous, it's a transformative work and to some degree, a parody, all of which are considered acceptable use cases. The problem would come if she used some of his art in a non-transformative way without licensing it (for the album cover, for instance). If she did, the estate would be within their legal right to sue. I doubt that would happen, though.
  22. We don't really know anything else. She mentioned it a grand total of once, while on the red carpet at the Grammys. It was discussed for about thirty seconds and she didn't share any other details beyond the ones already in this thread.
  23. It is an EP. She said during the livestream that she thought albums were getting too long and she preferred shorter projects of "six or seven tracks".
  24. Power Lines {had a date on the file name from August 2018} Very Beige {date from February 2018} Childish {undated} Red Lamb {date from October 2018} Devil in Paradise {undated} Portrait of a Female {undated} Fabergé {undated} There were probably ten others on screen at one point, but I wasn't fast enough with my screenshot to get any of them.
  25. Found someone who recorded the Childish snippet.
