  1. Reginsider is not real. Almost everything they post is either totally vague, already stated by a real insider or outright fake. When something they claimed would happen doesn't happen, they say it was "rescheduled", without fail.

Demo of a song that she wrote for MS MR, which was eventually retitled "Pieces".

Not MusicMafia; It was some other little "pay for unreleased" type site that sprung up and tried to emulate MusicMafia's business model. Their website was taken down within about two days, so I don't think anyone actually had time to get in contact with them, pay for a track and get the download.
  4. It was rumored a couple months ago that she'd told a fan it had been scrapped and to look out for new music instead.
  5. They're married, actually, but no, I don't think they've split up. They're still featured together on some recent writing credits for other people. He seems to have become more interested in being behind the scenes and probably values his privacy, which is why she doesn't post pictures of him on social media anymore.
  6. I've read the meanings, looked through the interviews and watched the whole thing in its entirety twice, along with each of the individual videos a handful of times. I understand what she was going for and don't think it was successful. It is really that simple. If someone's strapped for time and doesn't think they can keep their attention on something for an hour, there's no point in suggesting watching it. Your condescending tone is also pretty cringetastic. Don't talk down to people just because they don't like the same things as you.
  7. Let's not pretend the videos weren't repetitive. They basically fall into three categories: "standing still while the camera pans dramatically", "frenetic movement through a space" and "group groping". If they've already seen some of them, they've probably got the gist.
  8. It's fine, but unless you really love the album and visuals strongly affect how you view music, you can probably skip it.
  9. Unless there's some super-secret box set edition that isn't available for pre-order yet, there does not seem to be a deluxe. She registered two songs that didn't make the standard edition recently ("Light of Love" and "Mirage") and people had speculated that they might be for the deluxe, since she registered most of the bonus tracks for Ceremonials and How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful pretty soon before preorders went up, but it seems like they're just outtakes this time.

The person from PopJustice updated their post and said that they think the title of the second song in the setlist was "Not So Bad in L.A."
  11. Nah, you have to follow Occam's Razor in a situation like this. There is no proof that Consequence of Sound ever posted anything about it and if they had, someone would've taken a screenshot. Therefore, this is almost certainly fake info made up by a fan.

Dillon: The EP/mixtape version begins with a short series of synths and no vocals until the "I wanna break your heart", as opposed to the acoustic guitar and warbling intro lines in the final version. The vocals throughout the earlier version are more raw, deep and punchy, with less reverb. The verses had a few lyrics changed and the last line was also slightly different. The chorus had less frenetic drums. There was just less instrumentation in general, actually. Drunk Enough to Love Me: Not too many changes for this one. The synths were softer, guitar wasn't as prominent and the vocals were deeper at times, but the generalities of this one are pretty similar to the final. Both have been completely redone from the ground up, though, because none of the instruments or vocal takes are identical between the two versions.
  13. He's just extrapolating. She referred to it as a track that was originally going to be the album intro during that Beats1 interview last year and she's posted the same part of the song twice, so the assumption is that we've heard the whole thing.

Bobby just said on Twitter that I Don't Change and Gone Girl are probably still going to be released when the soundtrack for the movie they're associated with comes out, so that's something to look forward to. He also promised that some of the songs meant for their second album will be reused for other projects.

Not necessarily featuring Teddy Sinclair vocals, just co-written by her and Willy. Willy's also a producer, so I imagine he contributed to the production too.

Bobby's Twitter Q&A today confirmed that they are breaking up, but that both are going to be pursuing solo projects of some kind, with more info to come soon. He also said that he might put up the b-sides that aren't on iTunes/Spotify if the album does well. And apparently Elijah Daniel never recorded his part of Personality, so I guess that's well and truly scrapped.

They haven't confirmed the breakup, just said they might. I imagine it's mostly dependent on how the album does, which is all the more reason to buy it.

I messaged Bobby on Twitter last November and he told me Raintree Lane was on the album at that time. He also said that they were working on a new song around that time and that they wanted to put it on the album. That track was most likely I Miss My Friends, since that's the only track on the album that hasn't been registered for years.

It's not terribly inaccurate, though. I know for a fact that Raintree Lane was still in consideration for the album within the last six months. It probably did get bumped by I Miss My Friends, since that's the newest song.

    Those are dental tools, actually.
  22. She was a student of philosophy and metaphysics. LaVey's Satanism was one of the preeminent new age philosophies of the late 20th century. It acted as a counterpoint to religions that focused their worship on higher powers. In LaVeyan Satanism, there's no idolatry or even belief in existence beyond the physical, so "worship" takes the form of hedonistic self-indulgence. It's actually quite an unusual foil. It borrows a lot from Ayn Rand's Objectivism and the writings of Friedrich Nietzsche. I fully believe that she bought all kinds of different philosophy books, including The Satanic Witch, purely out of academic interest. She's certainly talked about reading from other philosophers plenty of times. Even if she doesn't believe in the tenets of LaVeyan Satanism, I'm sure she's read about it.

Yeah, I know they said Pack a Day was originally going to be a physical bonus track on Poster Child, but I assumed they were translating that to album bonus track status. Happy When I Cry always struck me as more of a b-side anyway. Tbh, I don't feel like Elevator fits with the album concept, so it's weird that they'd include it. Yeah I figured it was something like that. Any word on when that's dropping?

    K.I.D

Yeah, I think they're pretty much set on Drunk Enough to Love Me making the cut on the album, since it's kind of a fan favorite. I know that Dillon had made the tentative tracklist in November of last year, but they said they were still working on the album at that time and might either bump it or make it a bonus track, so I'm not sure. Both are completely re-recorded, with new production. I don't think they're changing any of the Poster Child tracks for the album. Those four songs were written with the album in mind and they started performing them at the same time as other album tracks like Waiting Room and Antisocial, on the assumption that the album was going to be the first thing they'd release, rather than an EP.

Hypersex and Elevator are not on the album. I Miss My Friends is on the album. Happy When I Cry was originally not supposed to be on the album, but I seem to recall that they said on Twitter that it might've made the cut? Basically all of these songs are also for the album: Antisocial Boy Crystal Universe Drunk Enough to Love Me Errors I Cannot Sleep At Night Imagining Prodigal Daughter Raintree Lane Taker Too High to Try Waiting Room Two tracks that might or might not make it are Dillon and Pack a Day. They've gone back and forth on whether those are included.
