I'm not talking just about lana btw, i've been seeing this with people in my personal life too. but if you see someone who isn't being vocal about anything else in the situation EXCEPT or the looting, you just have to assume that mf is racist. when i see it, in my head i do "there is a deep ingrained history of black men, women and children being killed (and even worse!), peaceful protesters are being beaten, shoved, physically thrown, gassed, even children, but the biggest problem you see is they're stealing??" it's not just about her social media. it's about her as a person, she doesn't need people to tell he what and what not to post, she needs people to educate her

If you think about it, none of the users in the groupchat really had a reason to release the screenshots. Yeah for us we were super confused and wanted to know but all the members of the groupchat already know what's up and they don't owe us anything. groupielover talked about how it really took an emotional toll on him and it was probably in all of their best interest to just move on and pretend i didn't happen

Speak up to show that when she said she cares about the black community she really meant it and didn't just say it so people would stop accusing her of being racist. Yes everyone has the right to have discussions about all sorts of topics, and i'm not accusing anyone here of doing that but i just mean in general the problem is just that too often marginalized groups like poc don't even have their viewpoints heard at all because it gets excused by white people. Lana excusing everyone who found a problem with their post as crazy hyper vigilant liberals/trump supporters and people excusing it as just "you don't know how to read right" is an example of that. Talk WITH marginalized groups but dont talk OVER

Ok well i sort of agree that "racist" isn't the right word. Cause when people label others as racist it's just very unhelpful. But what I am considering it is racially insensitive. Only a white woman with no self awareness in their privelage and pretty much zero understanding of black history and issues in america would be able to type this out and see nothing wrong with it uh yeah thats a no from me. white people have nothing insightful to say about poc issues, men have nothing insightful to say about womens issues, etc etc. its a simple matter of staying in your own lane and not talking over people who are more entitled than you to speak on the topic

PSA to everyone who still doesn't see why people find Lanas posts racist. A YouTuber named "for harriet" has a video explaining it. its pretty long but i think she does a good job at explaining everything very cohesively . there are other vidoes explaining the point of view but i think hers is the best

pls. just because you can't comprehend whats so obviously wrong with lanas posts doesn't mean people who can are going out of their way to get mad. Tons of people who are huge fans of her and want the best for her are mad about the post too. Have you bothered trying to get the other perspective on the matter? if you just look it up on youtube there are tons of black women who take apart the statement, clearly show they comprehend lanas intentions, but point out the problems they find with it

Lana did however claim to have care and support for the black community in her instagram video. if someone has millions of dollars and a huge influence on millions of kids around the world, i just don't buy that you get to do nothing with all your power and still claim you advocate for them Just because she didn't say word for word BLACK WOMEN CANT BE DELICATE does not mean that it wasn't implicitly suggested

This is more related to Lizzy Grant but does anyone know enough about her life to know where she got the money to get her nose done? He basically just explained that one of the users made 2 comments that even he himself found to be rude, and Lana was basically just dragging that one user.
