    love the new song! it seems to pick up from one of my fav songs on masseduction, savior, and extend and fuck with that sound to add tons more funk.

    thank u! i am so excited– none of her work since strange mercy has hit as hard as that album did for me (damn its perfect) but she's always pushing herself to try new things which i always appreciate– very excited to see her next move.

    got my forgotten shirt today and it's so nice! a heavier weight and the embroidered pocket is so cute. still wonder how/why a HIADT shirt was added to the violet merch drop– not complaining bc it's one of my fav LDR songs but still. it does have some of the most poetic of her lyrics so maybe that's the connection, but who knows. my offering blanket is supposed to arrive tomorrow! slowly deleting email receipts from the many orders i currently have w her online stores...:smokes:

    it has the UO listening party where the album streamed in all urban outfitters stores a day or two before release which was good promo, other than that she didn’t do much? There was an album signing too but that’s it I think

     

    yeah she said this was the era where she gave up on promo bc promo for UV was so stupid. but this was my fav era for promo looks bc those navy/red/white outfits and the dark curled hair were perfection!

    i felt mixed about masseduction (loved a lot of the songs, hated others, didn't care for the band-less performances) but def enjoyed it more than the self-titled record, which i rarely revisit apart from a song or two– excited to see where she goes with this record and would obvs love a 70s vibe which she's def giving in this poster.

    She's working on "Behind the Iron Gates" right now. That's not a hiatus

     

    ugh i can't WAIT for BTIG tbh...don't get wrong, i am obvs most anticipating COCC rn, but i will be just as excited when the next book gets announced too.

     

    hope WD comes in the next week or so along with the vid but 3 weeks will fly by regardless!
