I still think part of spacing out the TVs is to give the current owners have a chance to come crawling back to her and try and sell her original masters back. I doubt they’ve sat and silently watched her completely devalue their crown jewel—it’s only a matter of time before she owns her full catalog again imo.

And what was that about Taylor being “rude” to Celine? Between Lana’s losses and the vitriol this thread had for Taylor (literally wishing her death) I think I’m calling it a night. I hope when Lana wins her Grammys, she doesn’t even bother attending and they don’t make a single red cent off using her for promo.

Also aside from the Lana and Olivia snubs, I’m a bit sad that Gracie didn’t get anything either. I know she’s a nepo, but her debut album was genuinely very pretty and deserving of the “best new artist” accolade.

oh pls Lana literally came out and said she asked her voice to be in the background. It wasn’t Taylor silencing her or whatever you’re trying to suggest. It’s one thing to be disappointed (as am I), but let’s not drudge up fake drama.

Yes pls let’s not forget that up until last year, Lana Del Rey would’ve been on that stage anyways for her work on Midnights. Lana deserved to be on that stage. Fuck the Grammys.

I would agree if Lana weren’t a collaborator on the album, and up until last year, would naturally have been on that stage anyways bc she would’ve been eligible for the Grammy.

I’m still surprised Taylor won. Not only bc I don’t think Midnights was not on par with folklore, Fearless, and 1989–but mainly bc I felt like they told her to make her announcement during the first award (which was sort of awkward) and would’ve been much more impactful and a “moment” if she announced it at the end of the show, and the Grammys should’ve told her as much.

I’m also pissed at the Grammys even more bc if they hadn’t changed their rules, Lana would be getting a Grammy for midnights. Like that’s genuinely a vendetta.

You cannot deny that wasn’t very genuine and honourable of Taylor and was a beautiful tribute
