  1. Righttt but from Rob's perspective she's still the mother of his children and they quite literally raised Lana Chuck and Charlie... and it's his project, not Lana's.. and home movies are so common
  2. I don't think I could disagree more. She's preferred to sing in her head voice since Sirens and AKA but has ALWAYS had a range. Birds of Feather, Junky Pride, Pretty Baby are all falsettos and then she slowly begins to introduce more chest voice in Pawn Shop Blues, Queen of the Gas Station, but fully embraces her alto in Video Games, Summertime Sadness, Young and Beautiful, etc – her most "iconic" songs. Bc her chest voice is prominent in the songs she's known for, it gives the impression that when she strays away from it, something must be wrong. She can go from Paris, Texas and maintain high notes with excellent control then drop it back down during Candy Necklace, which we speculate to be the last song recorded from OB. So no I don't think anything is "wrong." I think peoples' voices tend to naturally change especially their mid 40's, and I don't think Lana is anywhere near that point yet. Please stop trying to diagnose her.
  3. Candy Necklace giving you the ultimate side eye. Love her lower register on that song. Wildflower Wildfire... Kintsugi... she still channels her chest voice all the time. And she does it well
  4. So I'm guessing tracklist is going to be BTD, NFR, Ocean Blvd, one or two UV songs. Nothing from Honeymoon, Chem, or BB. MAYBE Cherry.
  5. This and OTTR– great song, but it doesn't translate live imo
  6. Not doing OTTR is the end of an era but at least she's not doing anything from her worst album
  7. Did anything important come out of those videos? I don't feel like watching them all the way thru jdfsals;fs
  8. That would blow my mind if she randomly sang the deepest of cuts lmaooooo we know she won't but that would be iconic
  9. Taylor Swift is an ultra capitalist. She's also been very engaged in Lana's work since 2012 made that clear with 1989 tracks influenced by BTD, Folklore/Evermore being influenced by NFR, and mentioned Lana's name directly in a speech ~2019. You can be mad that Taylor is cashing on on Lana's work or whatever, but Taylor has been elevating Lana's status in turn. All of this can be true. Also, Lana herself is a capitalist. She lives in a $12 million dollar home. Her net worth is probably more than $40 million. If you're coming at Taylor from a leftist/classist perspective, fair, but you're gonna let Lana off the hook? Come on now. edit: Lana is closer in status to Taylor Swift than she is to any of us, and any of us ever will be. None of us will come close to their net worths. There's a difference between a hundred million and tens of millions, but in terms of class, they are 100% in the same boat.
  10. She seems to be putting hella work into these shows so I hope it grows into a worldwide tour. I'm begging for shows on the East Coast. I missed out on tickets
  11. Although I prefer the released version to the unreleased version, I still don't love the song, I lowkey never have (pretty mid for a Lana song imo), but I'm glad it will get the attention on TikTok and hopefully chart on radio.
  12. You have to pay $113 for a waitlist??? And you’re not even guaranteed a spot? Tell me I’m crazy
  13. He's outstanding- been a fan for a while. I've always loved the texture in his voice
