two things, TNBAR that was on NFR was the one that was cut from LFL. the demo that leaked with more depressing lyrics was an early demo of the song from back in early 2016 when she was going to call the album Best American Record, but that concept got scrapped for Lust for Life and a slightly more positive themed album and so did the song, but it still got cut and then put on NFR. In 2017 interviews she mentions TNBAR being about Topanga and a happy track along with yosemite also, beautiful people got reworked and still came out lovely! have hope

@lustforlife do you know if Young & Free (the one that sounds similar to television heaven) was considered or reworked or anything for Blue Banisters? I remember that being a rumor a while back..

okay so as someone who collects not only Lana vinyls and has an obsession with getting the rarest variant for anything, I can answer your question! SO to be able to predict which variant will become the rarest, you must first look at all the available ones, and see how in stock they are and how many realtors they are available from. Lana's rarest records are from the most limited realtors. both red Honeymoons, UO UV, coke bottle LFL, all were available only at UO/her webstore and were also very popular, popularity also has a bit to do with it but not that much (NFR for example, the lime green one wasn't popular but is pricey now). The indie blue NFR was more easily accessable but since it was in high demand it is now one of her harder to find variants. Chemtrails doesn't seem to have a super rare variant at the moment. I'm wondering if the translucent red will become one tho

I know I’m going to sound like one of THOSE girls when I say this but I was listening to NFR at work while I was cashiering when she posted that video and The Greatest was quite literally playing when I got the notification and paused my music to listen. I just realized it because I opened my music and the greatest was on pause and I hadn’t touched my music app since then. Wild.

Ohhhh this is gonna be GOOD. she’s for sure going to go MIA all the rest of this year into next year, maybe even all of next year and then come back with her magnum opus

$100 just fell into my lap, so now i am on the hunt for the target exclusive when it restocks and the white translucent. I ordered one white one from her website but i told my friend i would gift that to her (i really am the friend of the year) so now I need to find another one for myself !

no, not talking about that, i know a fake mockup when i see one. the account i tagged had lots of info on the album (tracklist, cover arts, etc) before lana announced it, so when he said today that UO has a blue vinyl exclusive AND alternate cover art(I am hoping for smiling dogs) we were all keen on believing him. However I do have a thought: When Doja Cat did her UO exclusive Hot Pink album, there were TWO UO exclusive colors, one was white and the other was pink marble. SO perhaps Blue Banisters will eventually release a variant with the smiling dogs and blue LP's
