um okay so i just gave my presentation.....(mind you this professor i feel didnt like me because i was slow at learning photoshop) so i start off and go completely off the rails talking about trump and the capitol, and just really saying it with my whole chest, then when i was finished...SHE PRAISED MY WHOLE PROJECT AND SAID IT WAS THE ONLY ONE WITH A REAL MEANING AND BACKSTORY AND THAT IT LOOKS SO TRIPPY AND COOL AND MADE ALL THESE OTHER CONNECTIONS THAT I DIDNT EVEN THINK OF WHEN CREATING IT..... I literally am speechless. I was hoping for such a more satisfying reaction from this little stunt i pulled......(was funny hearing my entire class comment on it and say the word "chemtrails") Anyways....counting down the days till COCC

so im about to act up in the name of the cocc era STORY TIME: so im in an intro to graphic design class, and we are learning how to use photoshop. our assignment was to make an aesthetic collage, and i pushed it off till the night before its due, and i had to use 12 images, so i collected a bunch of blue images because its my fav color, and i noticed there were a tone of shots of chemtrails on the site we have to use to choose our pictures from, so i took like at least 5, and a big blue parrot (like the ones in the movie Rio), I chose the parrot becuase i needed a central figure for my collage(it was in the requirements) and then I realized I needed a theme and a message... so i had to come up with something on the spot... my theme you ask? "Chemtrails Over the Blue Parrots"..... I'm going to go into the zoom presentation tomorrow with the same energy Lana had during her BBC1 interview. This professor is already not my biggest fan, no one in the class really knows me, I'm always behind and slow to learn everything in the class, so they dont even know what to expect from me, but im going to go into it and be like super cracked out and say something like "so my theme is like about these blue parrots like in the movie Rio, and everyone knows the Rio movie parrots are extinct...so the chemtrails symbolize impending doom to the blue parrots, and its just like, basically like when the people STORMED THE CAPITOL, like it ruined something beautiful, its just like a total reminder to us as people to take account for the capitols we are storming in our own lives, and what metaphorical parrots we are putting extinct in our own lives." and then maybe go into how its super messed up how animals go extinct and perhaps bring up how trump made no effort to save any animals on the verge of extinction. Just like get super off topic and delusional sounding and see how it goes over. I mean the collage itself is really good so its not like she can fail me....I really have nothing to lose here....

I would personally love that. like its not from a happy or sad narrative, just a factual narrative, and the listener can decide weather or not the song is sad to them or happy in a way. That type of music is so powerful to me

with all this mazzy talk, I would KILL for a Lana song with the sound of Halah. The lyircs are so painfully sad and beautiful. I also love it so much because it was one of the last songs my late mom recommended to me. We would always give each other music suggestions, and that one in particular I especially loved! It is very Lana-esque as well

i know theres a yosemite doubters club and almost everyone is devastated we didnt get dealer, but im soooooo glad we got Yosemite over Dealer. Ive been dying to hear it and Yosemite is in my opinion one of the most beautiful places on earth. i cant wait for that song

for sure, Billie has a long road ahead of her and if she can modify and evolve her sound (I think ditching her brother for an album would help) I think she can become something better. but as of rn idk id take Lorde/Lana/Clairo/Weyes/Phoebe over any of Billie's projects

my first listen to the album will be at midnight, with my best friend, we got super drunk for norman and walked around a huge golf course dancing like fools to each song. However March might be a bit cold for that, so we will just be in her room getting drunk and hitting a bong while we take in COCC. Then the next day ill give it a proper more sober listen

Billie is constantly compared to Eyelash, and saying she listens to The Beatles isnt really saying much. you have to be living under a rock to not know/like at least a handful of their songs. Being well versed in the classic artists Lana is shows so much more rich knowledge for her to bring to her craft, thats why Eyelash's music can't hold a candle to lanas, in 20 years from now Billie's abums will sound like experimental fad type music from the 2020's, and Lana's will continue aging like fine wine and can be placed next to the greats music and it will fit in just fine

ok this is so weird....i saw the cover art for this album like a few weeks ago and id never heard of her before. so i was like "ooo ill tune into this!" then literally TONIGHT i was like "ill explore her music!" so i put on THROATZILLA (i listen to like lana, weyes, twigs, clairo, etc...) and i was SHOOK....i didnt know what to think of it at first, but then i heard the title track and i was like ah okay more normal, but i love both tracks! and now the whole album leaked????? shook. ill be listening! also when did the album leak???
