I think if it was new music BOZ would have just stayed silent instead of explicitly saying that it's not a new album/songs... cause why lie if he could just ignore the people asking But yeah it's so weird that they are both saying completely different things

If BOZ knows about it and she's going to announce it on Tuesday it has to be related to the album and coming soon. The title track came with the album preorder and A&W with the merch (even though it dropped later) so something else is coming with The Grants I doubt BOZ knows exactly what she's saying on the BBC so it's probably on the same day but separate (she may mention it anyway depending on what it is of course)

I'm 80% sure the surprise is just a (small) tour announcement. It would be a "surprise" cause so far she only announced festivals, it's "for the fans" and it also makes sense with the finally comment. She probably has some Europe dates too and that's why BOZ is happy about it Unless BOZ explicitly said it's not the tour cause I'm not sure up to what point he read to say "nobody guessed it right" cause the majority of people were saying either AKA/Unreleased or a surprise second album.

I can't believe we're getting I know it's not going to be the 2.0 of anything but just so I can have an idea cause I don't know what to expect

I feel this album is going straight to my top 3 at least but I don't think anything she'll release will ever take HM from the top spot... too many memories attached to that album But yeah I have really high expectations and the songs I've heard so far didn't disappoint at all Even if I like every song on first listen I always need a lot of time with her albums to truly know how I really feel about them. For example I'm still trying to decide which one of the 2021 albums I like more and I only started appreciating LFL in its entirety recently

So funny how the only song we got a snippet from Lana officially is the one people don't have/don't want to talk about It reminds me of BBS secrecy until the album leaked there's also that part of lore about the song that we still don't know about either

I know everybody wants to hear the album as soon as possible but can we not directly encourage people to leak it? It's getting weird

Since we're getting The Grants next week so the album opener is being spoiled anyway (cause I know I'll listen to it on Tuesday)I think I'm going to do it now

I'm sure it has been said a million times since The Grants news but I can see the "surprise" being the album trailer with the 3 singles. I know it's not that crazy but we didn't get one for the last 2 albums and BOZ said The Grants would be amazing on a trailer so it makes sense that he's excited. The album trailer one week before the album also makes sense I'd prefer a short film with those 3 songs but that's unlikely

This makes sense but I think Kintsugi would know that a new single a week before the album is not that big of a deal. Unless he did see all the BOZ hype and just thought he said something was coming (which supports your theory)

I mean he heard it months ago and the full thing is out in 2 weeks It has to be something related to the album promo but he said it's not a MV or a single (but a single is indeed coming so we might get visuals too alongside the surprise )

I think whatever she's releasing on Tuesday is from the album and after the premiere she'll talk a bit about the record and announce the surprise. But yeah it has to be related to the album too cause why would she be promoting a soundtrack when she'd have a brand new album coming in a week If she's on the soundtrack we'll know in some months but I don't think it's related to the surprise

I don't think it's an unbelievable surprise cause we already know she has some festivals tho... she is back on the stage. OR maybe she's doing a full DYKTTATUOB professionally recorded concert (like one of those VEVO things were artists sing a bunch of the new songs from the album)

I'm still shocked that it didn't leak on the OG date. Props to her team for managing it nicely for once I still expect it some day in the coming weeks tho cause some countries for some reason have the shipping date set next week ?? I don't get that cause it's not the first date or the updated one

Now back to tangible info... do we think we're getting a new single next week or is she just promoting the album? Cause the "hottest record" is usually for new music right? And it's a Tuesday... her favorite random day of the week to release singles If it's a third single I kinda want one of the leaked songs so I can have an excuse to listen to TG or Sweet but I guess they'd want one of the "upbeat tracks" prior to the album it would be weird to release the closer as a single which has another single on it so maybe Peppers? Either way I'm glad I only listened to Fingertips cause I'll still have many new tracks for release day

When we were still guessing acronyms he first said PT (Paris Texas) was fake but then said something like "yeah forgot she changed that one". He then said that she made all the titles different from the originals and that she messed around with the tracklist and that she probably changed her mind about half of the songs by now (or something like that).

She probably has enough recorded for a new album since she finished this one back in September/October but I think what makes more sense is that she's releasing a B sides to DYKTTATUOB and BOZ was surprised cause he didn't expect her to do so. She probably wrote a lot with Mike for this album and BOZ said she changed the tracklist around a lot (and that she probably regrets her choices now so he wasn't talking only about title switches). Boz also said that he's personally happy about the surprise cause he probably heard the outtakes and he liked them during the album process so he's glad she's releasing more masterpieces

"You are NOT gonna believe it" It has to be something big or at least unexpected (and he said it's not a single or MV). Album trailer and tour even if we don't think we're getting those, it wouldn't be unbelievable so I'd rule them out. I don't think they'd let her release any music non album related now or with the record cause it would take away from the main thing (which seems really promising commercially and with critics) so unless it's a month after the album I'd take out AKA (even though I'd die for it) and the unreleaseds. A live TV performance it's also nothing unexpected even though the last ones we got were prerecorded but how much of a surprise would that be... idk even if it's SNL it doesn't seem that big or crazy. That leaves us with... nothing
