I just noticed Sam is now credited as a writer on the song (at least on Spotify) but I don't remember seeing him in the credits on release date I'm aware he was on the full credits as "vocals"

I don't think the physicals will be shipped on the 10th cause they had enough time to manage everything and literally stop them from coming out of the pressing plants so no shop can put them out early on shelves (like BB) If it leaks on the original date it's going to be from the digital album cause that's harder to coordinate with every store and platform

I'm hyped ! All the snippets sound so good and I'm loving the visuals. I also love how she went with the creepy eerie fairy aesthetic and not a cute butterfly wings one

She's for sure working on the next album already. She said that Chemtrails was the only album she released without having already some songs she loved for the next record (and we know she had some DYKTTATUOB tracks late 2021) so she's probably back on track. I also think we're getting the covers album in the future cause I find the lack of covers on her last 2 albums suspicious (when there's one in the majority of her albums) so maybe she skipped those this time cause she's slowly gathering songs for it (I don't think we're getting the original Standards concept tho, and thank God ). I don't think she's "announcing" the next album on release day like she does sometimes but I'm sure she'll mention the new tracks like she did really shortly after BB.

I don't think we're getting anything else directly related to the album until its release but we'll have the Billboard event next week and the magazine cover too shortly before/after And I'm still suspicious about the title track cover and the new poster

So do we believe what Rob allegedly said about surprises coming? Cause it doesn't look like they are doing much of an album promo (even though the music is being amazing and we are getting some covers, but in terms of campaign it's not really that different from the past 2 albums) I'm honestly satisfied enough with just the music but it's a weird album cycle cause it's like there's always something imminent but it just doesn't happen

It's also really dumb to compare a song like A&W to Blue Banisters or Arcadia. Totally different tracks that try to convey really different emotions. It's clear than on BB the majority of the track's focus was on lyrics and while A&W has top tier lyrics too, it wouldn't work with just piano chords, just like Blue Banisters wouldn't work with a 90s rock guitar and piano base We wouldn't have this album without Chemtrails and BB so the take that "this is the album she really wanted to put out after NFR" is dumb too

Yes he could and he did on BB It's the same cycle again. Hating on Jack's piano, now on Drew's and next album cycle will be the poor soul that dares to produce a piano ballad for her. Kinda tiring

I expect something cinematic and orchestral. Boz said it should have been used in an album trailer so I'm sure it's another highlight (even though his taste is questionable at times he's been right with the title track and A&W being amazing)

I wonder if those are lyrics from different songs or full song titles that were at one point in the tracklist Like: (Pearl) Watch Me Ring a Bell Psycho Lifeguard They all look like Lana titles to me but it would be weird to scrap them if at one point they were part of the album title

I'm so curious about the VB sample cause if it's in the title it's probably noticeable and a big part of the song Jack said "its little head" but I think it was just his way of saying it and not actually talking about how big/small the part is

The new twitter TL infuriates me cause I have to constantly see awful takes about Lana and the album from people that I don't even follow Then when the album gets released I'll have to see meltdowns when they expect the whole album to sound like Jimmy and it doesn't

To add to what others said, she's also not that US centered so even though she has good streams, not even half of them count for Billboard

She probably saw some weird stan twitter comments But yeah without any context is seems a bigger deal than it probably is

I'm excited for the whole album of course but I'm most looking forward to The Grants Fingertips Kintsugi Grandfather I want the strings and piano to eviscerate me

Probably Fishtail and Peppers. I think the other tracks are going to be more on the orchestral side (like the title track)

Same I'm sad that Grandfather is one of the shortest tracks cause I'm sure it's going to be amazing (even though 4 minutes is long, just not for Lana

The screams before the last "you're fucking up big time!" are a career highlight The best jumpscare

I love the Jimmy beats but the altered vocals are the highlight of that part for me. I hope we get some more moments like that on the album (when it makes sense of course, I wouldn't want pitched vocals on Fingertips for example ).

My favorite listens to new Lana songs/albums are the morning after release and oh my god I'm floored. Still can't believe how good this song is and I've realized I lowkey don't care about any album campaign/MVs/trailer etc cause the music is being soooo good that's all I care about (even though I'd of course welcome any extra content with open arms ). If the other songs are as half as good as the two singles we got this is going straight to the top of Lana albums
