Anyone else receive the Violet blanket instead of the Chemtrails blanket? ? Been waiting for them to respond with a resolution.

Currently reading 'The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo' which seems to be about an old Hollywood movie star that is ready to spill her life story before she dies. Of course the 50s-60s old Hollywood vibes remind me of Lana right away, then it is mentioned that the other main character who is interviewing Evelyn Hugo goes by her middle name Monique, but her real name is Elizabeth Grant ..coincidence? Also finally bought and started reading the book 'Tragedy Queens: Stories Inspired by Lana Del Rey and Sylvia Plath' because I saw it in the background of the bookstore on LDR Village. All these years I've passed on getting it because I thought maybe Lana didn't like it since I don't think she ever mentioned or endorsed it

I imagine the next poetry project will be saved for closer to end of the year or beginning of next year since she planned it for March at the time that Chemtrails was supposed to be for September. She also does still have more chemtrails pop-up merch coming in the upcoming weeks it seems

I don't think you'd have an issue selling anything for at least original price once it's no longer available

Yeah it's basically $5 per post card which would be ok if they were sold separately and we could buy the single ones that we want but there's like only 1-2 that I really want from each set and I refuse to buy the sets, not worth it

I have recently seen that the Taylor Swift site drops an enormous amount of merch but it's all on one site as far as I know. I don't know other artists that use so many sites to sell their merch but then again I don't listen to many artists

I found I would have to pay a tad bit more by ordering from two stores due to shipping since both shops have $10+ shipping so it was still cheaper to get the pic disc from ldrvillage where I was already getting a few things, and so just had one shipping charge of $11 Wish that the LMLYLAW chapstick didn't sell out before I could order

Am I crazy or didn't Chuck even say something on the bookstore livestream like "stop tripping about the mask, she tested negative before this"...ummm...if it had plastic then she would have said that instead of only telling people not to worry because lana doesn't have covid. ? I think a lot of fans are middle-aged with jobs or careers (or have a partner with one) that was not negatively affected by the pandemic regarding their finances. Obviously merch is never considered "essential" at any time really and is a way for them to make profit, but there are always people that cannot afford it (maybe more now than usual) so they either don't buy or they put it on credit. Touring and festival shows were all canceled too so this can maybe be a way for them to help offset that loss and continue paying their team

Ok I don't think I'll try that then haha Well honestly I already did I guess - last night I forgot to use the code so I reordered the blanket using the discount, then emailed right away asking them to cancel the first order, and they still haven't responded yet. So that's pretty crazy they got back to you so fast. I haven't received any shipping info yet either but maybe they'll try to ship out before answering. I'll probably be able to sell it if I end up with an extra though

Even if they weren't signed.. your merch ideas are great. Honestly I bought the box because I have the money and feel like I'll regret not getting it later and I can probably sell it for retail if I change my mind, though I doubt I will because it is a pretty unique item even if I'm not totally in love with it (yet). I already collect antique boxes so it's somewhat fitting, and I do like the quote "you don't want to be forgotten, you just want to disappear" even though I only halfway relate because I want both to be forgotten and to disappear.?

Well, shit. Maybe if they restock I'll try it with making a new account and just request to cancel the previous order since it was backordered anyway so shouldn't be shipped soon. I know it's only like $20 savings but it makes me feel better knowing I got a "deal" lol

I got the blanket last night and the LDR15 code worked, but it didn't work today when I ordered the wall hanging and the box ? maybe they caught on or has anyone been able to use it today? I wonder if any of the merch profits are being donated like with the book. I think she originally said 100% of the book proceeds would go to that Native American water fund but it seems that's maybe changed. It's crazy how a couple years ago it was going to be $1 for something super simplistic and now it's like all these different vinyl editions and special merch and has become such a huge thing. I assume it wasn't all dropped at once with the vinyls because they wanted to wait til we got paid and had a break, thus spending more than we would have if it was all available at the same time. Or maybe it was a later decision when they saw the opportunity to make more money during the down time between the new album and next poetry book. Which kind of gives me anxiety and excitement thinking of all the merch that will come next year with the second poetry book plus the new album. I hope the merch doesn't end up like the TS store where it's just way, way, way too much shit

Seeing that there's a Barrie discussion, it seems like possibly an appropriate time and place to spill about a strange 'encounter' that I recently had with his new gf because y'all might find it mildly interesting. So I don't use social media and only have ig just to follow pages I like, mostly lana fan pages and whatnot. I don't post anything, don't have a profile pic, and my username is a lana reference. I follow Barrie as I do enjoy his music, and he always tags his new gf so I followed her too a long while ago. After I'd been following her for many months already, I get a message from her recently where she's kindly/awkwardly asking who I am because it's "creepy" that I follow both Barrie and herself as well. I explain I'm just a fan of his music and he tags her all the time in his posts so I followed. Then she requested to follow me and I accepted, but soon after she unfollows me. I'm guessing since my acct is private she just wanted to see who I follow bc what else would explain that when you can already see I have zero posts? Then at some point after she also deleted her message to me. Basically it was all pretty weird and shows she has some fears and insecurities, but who doesn't. I can't help but wonder if she suspected that I was lana or something...idk. Like her acct is public anyways so anyone can see her page without following. She goes on Barrie's live stories too and sometimes chats and answers questions with him from fans and stuff so yeah I didn't think it was too strange of me to follow and it makes me think she may have some fear or insecurities about the Barrie/Lana relationship situation because I mean, even though they haven't officially dated in a long time we have all picked up on queues and things that show they still have/had feelings for each other in the somewhat very recent past.

Ugh you're right, it does say "only available in the official lana del rey store"...they really should at least recognize the mistake of showing a cream vinyl in the photo, and not mentioning at all that it's actually clear. Not to mention the people that actually thought it was cream that they ordered and is still what they want but they have clear instead. Both options should be restocked even if it's just another preorder that we have to wait months for... why wouldn't they want to make more money plus make us happy?! Let's make a petition lol

I'm also in FL, and still waiting for my universal order of the cream vinyl and picture disc. So nervous they will be lost/damaged or something. Already received my blue vinyl and green vinyl, but am a collector so also sad to learn about the clear version that I probably won't be able to get. So strange how that happened...had to be a mistake. I do think it's probably the least attractive of them all though so that makes me feel somewhat better I suppose

...but not sold out if you get it with the year subscription for $50 hah nice marketing, glad I ordered it earlier I guess

To add to my previous post, I feel that the poem seems to be her pleading with LA to understand, respect, and accept her so she can finally feel at peace and at home there. She seems to express both the worthiness and unworthiness about both herself and LA. She softly demands for her truth to be heard, vents and defends about various experiences and characteristics, expresses qualities about herself and what she can offer, as well as what they do and don't have in common in a way that provokes a sense of compatibility between them and her utter desperation for everything to work out there. "Can I come home now?" is not her asking if she can go to her literal house, as she continues to wish to go home even after telling the story of her Hancock Park home which obviously didn't feel safe or comforting.
