  1. the songs took me a long time to connect w tbh so if u didn’t initially like it i understand for me: wildflower came first text book I just recently started to really enjoy, the only part of the song i don’t love is the second half of the chorus it just kinda sounds sloppy blue banisters is ok, it doesn’t have much replay value to me because as @Rorman Nockwell said i cannot stand the constant name dropping, i never listen to DTWD because of it
  2. also whether we mean to or not, a cover is stuck in our minds while listening to the music and if it’s noticeably terrible, it may affect ur listening experience or ur initial thoughts at least. i think it’s really difficult for a lot of us to separate the visual from the music because it’s always been connected- especially with lana, she’s made that a point since the start of her career, idk what changed
  3. wait guys, let’s do another group manifestation like we did in chemtrails pre-release and manifest a good cover our good sis @Terrence Loves Me led it last time. who else attended I think we created a shift
  4. eclipse and boz keep saying “trust the process” so i’m hoping this obsession of her using the same car selfie will make sense to us soon and hopefully we’ll get a decent cover in the end
  5. here’s the deal we’re manifesting anything other than that selfie. the bar is low
  6. we’re doomed lana my sister is a photographer based in la jolla, feel free to hit her up
  7. ahhhhh i don’t listen to joni oops still, the definition ties nicely
  8. one of my favorite things is digesting her lyrics just looked into the “i’ve been running on stardust alone for so long” line stardust: (especially in the context of success in the world of entertainment) a magical or charismatic quality or feeling.
  9. i cant believe how underrated wildflower wildfire is like those are her best lyrics since honeymoon. they’re so abstract and beautiful and not too wordy, it’s perfection to me everyone was so disappointed in the production and was expecting so much from mike but he said in the fantano interview that he will always stay true to the artist which he did. the piano was haunting and RICH and the layering reminded me of uv. the percussion on first listen was bizarre but it’s so explosive which i really needed from her. these first 3 songs are obviously heavy and very emotional. I don’t think lana was looking to make a radio friendly bop out of any of these songs. she’s still working with mike and I think they’re gonna go deeper with that explosive sound. anyways end rant and appreciate these godly lyrics Here’s the deal I promised you like a million tomorrows Here’s the deal What I can promise is i’ll lie down Like a bed of wildflowers And always make the sheets smell like gardenias Wild at your feet And I Nourish you hazily baby, I I’ve been running on stardust alone for so long...
  10. I had WW blasting in the car last night and the final chorus drums literally made it feel like my heart was beating out of my chest
  11. i feel like it’s a mix. it’s obviously about her dad, sean is the first verse, but the second verse i feel like is someone else from a long time ago
  12. exactly, those fans are no better than the critics who criticized her that era
  13. u girls better be nice to mike, wildflower wildfire is a masterpiece
  14. i think it’s so funny how so many of us hated the songs at first including me the songs are so unique and unlike the rest of her discography, and anytime that happens its gonna turn off fans. there are SO many songs of lana’s that i hated on first listen and are now some of my favorites. these 3 songs are a lot to digest honestly, i’ve been listening non stop all day and am still wrapping my head around the lyrics (which are truly some of her best). i’m so ready for this album, it finally feels like a new era of lana del rey
  15. this song is kinda a maze to interpret one minute she’s talking about her dad, then i think she’s talking about sean, and then this line, “people say we’re too much alike” reminds me of barrie
  16. that’s what i’m hoping wildfire would be such a good title or rcs of course
  17. ugh i wanna love text book so bad but the chorus doesn’t click with me. i am obsessed with the verses though
  18. omg i meant march SORRY lemme edit and that’s just when they started following each other on instagram
  19. i know not everyone was happy with mikes production but out of the 3 singles I think ww was the most recent (and the best ). bb was probably written close after the contemplating at costco the santa clairta fires post/ when chuck found out she was pregnant/ when she got tex and mex text book seems like it was written june of last year during the blm protests and after her break up with sean ww is kinda a wild card but I think she may have written in january? or when she started working with mike in march. anyways i’m really happy with mikes contribution and so excited to hear more of them together. there was something so classic about the lyricism and emotional vocals of ww like he brought back that sarcastic fire in her that’s apparent in uv
  20. wildflower wildfire supremacy
