That’s true, I’m just worried 😭 here’s to hoping she left it untouched beyond a little finalized mixing.
-
I didn't really care for the snippet but I was holding out hope for a beat drop. Not sure how I feel about it now that I've heard it in full. I'm starting to think she made Leeches into something else because Light Shower sounds so much like the Leeches we have
-
I guess there's not a beat drop?
-
....and the stream goes out
-
What did she say? The stream on twitch was still out up until just now.
-
The live will come and go because there's so many people close together in the audience trying to document the concert and that sort of thing can make cell service weird. Most likely someone in the audience is properly recording and will post later tonight.
-
She's going to be singing Light Shower and The Contortionist tonight according to her IG stories, but with how much she's having a hard time she's having I wouldn't be surprised if there's some last minute setlist changes.
-
I can't tell if she's struggling to breathe from the costume or because she's overheating right now, but I'm really hoping she's alright. It's hot to begin with and the stage lights certainly don't help.
-
She said something about wig hair in her mouth. I think she's really struggling with the costume tonight because the dress keeps slipping down and with it being 73 degrees in Chile right now the prosthetic is likely more than a little uncomfortable. I'm surprised she didn't perform without it tonight.

The twitch stream suddenly going up in quality when the guy goes back into the IG stream is sending me. I'm starting to think it's this guy's PC that is deep fried, not the filming person's phone. Edit: he just went into a different IG stream

Imagine nobody else posts footage so we get to listen to Light Shower and The Contortionist in -5kbps...
-
It's giving 2005 warped tour footage...
-
I’m holding out hope for Light Shower having a corpse-esque drop, just because we are already getting a guitar ballad with Leeches unless it was majorly reworked (which I’m really hoping against, I love Leeches)

The rollout for death was interesting. Everyone was expecting a video, and we know one was filmed, but it just... didn't release? It was especially weird because she did the timer on her story and everything which I think really added to people thinking the video was coming that night. I assume that she ended up deciding to move it to release the same day as the rest of the album but it seems like an odd choice since a video would've done a lot of promo for her. Her doing a single for this cycle was a step in the right direction, but I hope next time the rollout is better.

I'm not going to just not stream the whole album to decide if there's anything I enjoy over not liking four tracks. That said, some of the sessions we have like Sirens, Needle & Thread, and Garden are better than the finalized tracks we have heard so far. I think in general the leaks gave us all very high expectations for the sound of the new album so a song like Moon Cycle making the cut is... a choice.
-
After hearing them live twice, I definitely won't be listening to BOTL or Void when the album drops next week. I have similar feelings for Evil after hearing it last night... Here's to hoping the unheard tracks are truly remarkable because thus far I've not really been enjoying this weird pop-rock direction.
-
Some of the sessions we have repeat certain themes or phrases, she also mentions "piss-covered games" in Leeches, and there's a few other songs that share references to one another. It's relatively common for an artist to find one thing they like and try it out a few more times.
-
I don't see how they'd send out 10 more eggs. She's been on a mon/wed/fri egg schedule so unless she changes the schedule there's only 8 possible egg days before the album releases on the 31st. Releasing eggs on the week of the album's release also seems... odd. I imagine if there truly are 10 more eggs coming and none were made as backups, then she may have mon-fri eggs for the next two weeks to build hype. Hopefully she saved the absolute best snippets for last because if not this strategy might damage hype more than it builds it.

Dragon's Blood is one of the tracks I'm still holding out hope for. Sure, it's a little repetitive but I'd certainly take that over a chorus being "back from the dead, back from the dead, I'm back from the dead, back from the dead" any day. I think it's just the difference between the childish sounding tracks we've been hearing and the more mature sessions... I do agree with you on Moon Cycle. It is one of the weakest of the originally leaked sessions, and I don't know how she'd want to choose it over Sirens or Garden.
-
I have made my judgements thus far under the understanding that these are snippets, and do intend to listen to the album through at least once to form final opinions, but snippets certainly do give you enough to get a feel for a project and can build or damage your level of hype. That said: I am still holding out hope for at least some old content to make the cut, since this new content sounds almost unfinished in the way there's vocal effects yet not vocal mastering, and there seems to be little to no mixing in that she is often hard to hear and understand.
-
I hate to admit it but I don't enjoy any of the new content we have seen being teased for this project. Tunnel Vision being put on the final tracklist had initially given me some hope but when it's paired with songs like EVIL, which I still cannot get over the one vocal in, I find myself growing less and less interested. It's especially frustrating when it seems like she took a step up with After School and even more so with these early sessions only to return to k-12 (or, at this point, slightly below) levels of quality. I especially wanted to love this project, but I second your thoughts that the maturity we saw from the earlier tracks seems entirely lost in favor of writing songs that sound almost as if they were written and produced to market to children instead of the teens and adults she previously marketed herself to.
-
Since we're doing rankings of the snippets so far, I thought I'd go ahead and post mine (and my little sister's) before I fall off the map again. Here's to hoping the full tracks are much better than the snippets, but we will see. Here's my little sister's first, copied directly for how she wrote it. And here is mine. I tried to add reasoning for each track but there's some I just don't like for whatever reason. I hold out hope for the (unlikely) inclusion of Garden, Dragon's Blood, or Sirens.

I don't usually post here, but I want to clear something up. AHA Music is just showing false positives for these songs, the actual songs are available to be streamed on Spotify and are from various different artists. The first snippet is showing a false positive as Kevin Abstract's song Peach, the second as Peach Pit's song Peach Pit, and the third song's snippet is no longer on her Instagram so I'm not able to check it, but I assume it is likely also a false positive. It is an odd coincidence that these are all showing under peach-themed names, but I don't think that an intentional effort would be made to cause false positives like this.

The toys she sold have been going for fractions of the price for a long time too. It just shows how easily accessible the things she sells are for much better prices (ex several of the planters she was selling for $111 can be found for for $10-20) The $666 rosaries still send me tho.
