the way everything abt this sounds better than what we got.. I wonder if any of the songs had different production and lyrics at the time of this version of the movie since melanie said she rewrote and remade most of the songs a bunch of times... if so we need those probably better less watered down versions to leak the way Mel and her team usually make the dumbest decisions (budget, release timing, etc) and this is the first time they acc made a smart decision and I absolutely hate them for it I want this version of the movie to leak so badly

the watermarks still cool to finally have some of the photoshoot in kinda hq tho so still appreciate what we're getting I just hope that hq unwatermarked leaks happen and a good pic to use for the cover art for the K-12 comes along w them cuz im not rlly a fan of the one Im using rn

maybe, I mean it being in the same room as the old leak could be bc its fake but she couldve taken multiple photos in that room which would also make sense. And the other fake leaks had noticibly less effort put into them since this looks like a completely new image (besides the background) while the others were old pics of mel pasted on either the pics melanie br posted or a random pastel background + blurred so that ppl wouldnt recognize them... This pic looks like a teacher and mel sitting down or sum?? so if its fake at least theyre putting effort into it now ig we'll just have to wait and see

all of the K-12 outtake pictures that arent directly from that Melanie Brazil person are fake so idk if I trust this, the other fake ones were blurred in the exact same way too so its probably from the same people who put out the other fake photoshoot leaks lol I dont trust this

speaking of Jump Rope wtf happened to it being ab the wolf kidnapping her and tying her up with a jumprope... I even remember reliable leakers and shit saying it was ab that and that she didnt release it cuz it was too dark/explicit... I was expecting a controversially dark bop and all we got was a song ab crybabys crush on her twink best friend I feel like the fact that I was expecting sumn completely different is what didnt let me enjoy the song as much as I wouldve if that fake info hadnt been spread

why are people trying to pass of that demo of papercut as the final? Anyone with functioning ears and a brain can tell its an early demo

that photoshoot was probably so much better than the boring ass hotel one we got I rlly hope it leaks soon I always thought it didnt make sense with k-12s theme also I hate the fact that mels biggest leak era happened when my laptop broke and now I cant transfer them to my spotify as local files so I have to listen to mels unreleased in two diff music apps... if anyone knows how to download local files on spotify without pc please lemme know

yeah they explained what I meant better My point is that K-12 doesnt represent Melanie's writing that well because the final product ended up being chopped and way different from what it was supposed to be. For all we know the 3 hour version couldve been an amazing movie cuz it wouldve given time to explore all the issues she dove into more and get into character development and it couldve had a much better flow. It couldve also been terrible obviously I dont know if it was better but the fact that she had to chop more than half of the story into pieces definetly ruined the story. I mean imagine taking ur fave movie and chopping off like more than half of it, it wouldnt be the same movie at all. But I do think bad writing is still there, because she couldve condensed the movie in a better way if she was willing to simplify the story and just make it a more simple "creepy fucked up school with twisted pastel matilda shit" and remove stuff like the teachers pet plot, strawberry shortcake, oj, etc. stuff that needed more time to be well put together in the story. She couldve only included some songs that dont have such heavy stories in them and then releases those more serious ones as singles or made an ep where she makes music videos about these topics that adds to K-12 and explores a different side of the story, which wouldve been more interesting to see too. The original movie was probably alot better so I do think budget and expensive location are largely at fault but youre right bad writing is too. Melanie clearly wasnt willing to change the direction of the movie and instead of truly rewriting the story to condense it in a way that makes sense she just decided to basically chop the story into pieces and remove literal chunks of it and hope for the best and Id consider that bad writing.

I actually disagree with this, I think the whole filming in Hungary thing is what ruined the movie Theres no way to know if the script "was ruined from the start" because taking like two thirds of a script out and trying to work with that completely changes the storyline and direction. The script was doomed the minute she decided to spend the budget on filming in hungary. She shouldve gone for some sort of artsy indie movie style or sumn, she was shooting too high for someone who's only started getting into film-making I think the movie had alot of potential to be some sort of rlly cool twisted pastel tim burton-ish matilda type of story. I find it kinda ironic that I was listening to the leaks at the exact same time mel posted that
