I was mainly joking. Far Out mentioned the song in their review. They called it “an infectious slice of road-ready glitch-pop”, which is kind of a weird way to describe CN.

From the Far Out review “I’m waiting to be taken to the listening room. Universal Music don’t want Lana Del Rey’s latest album, Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd, to leak, so all the music writers in London have been summoned to UMG headquarters to listen, take notes and nibble free peanuts.” So yeah I’m guessing they all listened to it once.

What if they actually received the version without CN…

I’m surprised reviews are coming out this early? Has that happened for any other Lana album?

This album is getting Blue Banisters level reviews so far. I wasn’t expecting that.

Part of the problem is that they only give whole star scores. Like they don’t do 3.5s or 4.5s. They stated in the review that if it weren’t for a couple of songs like Kintsugi that bring the album down, it would be on par with NFR for them. Since they gave NFR 5/5 stars, they really could only give DYK 4 stars at most.

They gave NFR a 5/5. I can see this album getting a similar critical reception to COCC.

I’m surprised CN hasn’t leaked yet. There are definitely some record stores that are selling the vinyl already.

They are doing listening parties in the US too. Saw one for Amoeba earlier.

Is the magazine out in stores already? Someone should try to track it down if it is.

Yeah he didn’t even mention her. The fact that some people think it’s about her is kind of telling though.

The Grants was just a bad single choice.

They really need to let her drop an album with no singles next time. The singles don’t even get that much promotion and now we don’t even get music videos.

TT and Peppers have Mike Hermosa writing credits as well. Didn’t she say the album started with him?

She may work for a vinyl pressing plant. It’s possible all the vinyl for this album was pressed at the same place.
