This probably true unfortunately. From looking at her top 50 most streamed songs yesterday only like 3 songs from BB/COCC are there.

It seems like they had legit info.

Nikki Lane is going on tour in April. That is probably the only tour Lana will be attending.

Not sure if someone already pointed this out but I just noticed that on the Apple Music and iTunes album covers RIOPY is actually listed with the other features now. I wonder why the initial album cover that Lana posted didn’t have him listed.

I actually think her relationship with Mike was really important for this album. Sean also seems to have inspired at least some of it, but Mike helped with like 5 of the songs. His involvement on this album in general is really interesting, since Mike has never had any songwriting or producing credits that I could find. He seems to mainly work as a movie director.

Has anyone said anything about this song? I know we have that short snippet that Lana posted but don’t think any insider has brought this up as a stand out track or anything. I think releasing a song that sounds different from what she has been releasing lately like A&W would actually generate the most buzz for her.

Based on just Spotify streams right now. I guess it could fall off after the first few weeks or something but it’s doing crazy numbers right now.

I hope they pushed back the release due to vinyl production and not because they want the album to go #1. Miley’s new single is doing better than Adele or Taylor’s most recent lead singles, so I could see her being #1 for multiple weeks anyway.

I’m glad she let us know ahead of time at least. It would have been bad if this is how we found out today.

I remember when she randomly inserted herself in the Lana/Jack drama. Lol Anyway you can tell nothing is happening when people are talking about Ethel Cain in a pre-release thread. Hopefully Lana does something soon.

I get that they want to get sales in but 3 months seems like such a long time if they aren’t planing to do anything else in the meantime for the album. The same people would have pre-ordered the album, if they had announced it this month or in February.

Why does anyone even think that would be for a music video? She was at the Malibu fair around a lot of people so some one would have seen her filming it. Watch this be like when someone found the COTCC album cover and we thought it was just a behind the scenes picture though.

They can’t even take down the songs that are illegally being added to her Spotify profile. There is a new flute version of her songs every week.

Yeah I really wish she had surprise released this or announced it like a month before the release date. The fact that she does nothing to promote it or keep the hype going makes it worse. Like the only time she has posted about this album other than the initial announcement was to shade her ex.

Maybe that one person on Instagram almost guessed the correct title.

When you use a sample I’m pretty sure you have to credit all the songwriters that were on that song. This means that if it’s not a NFR/COTCC/BB song, it would be a self-written song like Yayo. Or maybe something from Aka? Not sure if she was the sole writer on some of those songs. Then again it is possible that she just didn’t properly credit everyone on the original song.

I’ve always thought only certain lines like “Mimicking me is a fucking bore” were about her.

Oh I didn’t know Dua actually said shady things about Lana. I thought this was about the Ben situation.
