I kind of doubt it. Someone asked Nikki about it a few weeks ago and she made it seem like it wasn’t coming anytime soon.

That interview combined with her adding songs that she ripped off of YouTube and keeping the leaked instrumental of Thunder under the new version on an official album is very worrying. The fact that no one told her to re-record or look for the original files says everything.

Haven’t listened to the bonus tracks yet but that would be really cool. I appreciate how much effort Taylor puts into her releases, and I’m not even a huge Taylor stan or anything.

This song doesn’t show up on Lana’s page on streaming services. Maybe she doesn’t have lead credits on it.

Yeah I don’t think this album is as bad as some people have said it is, but Rolling Stone calling it an instant classic is crazy. Maybe I just need to give this album more time though.

I actually like the song after listening to it in HQ. Still wish she hadn’t announced it as a feature and made it a surprise for release day, but it’s cute.

Yeah either this or she does a double album so that the streams still count towards Midnights. She also wouldn’t miss out on one of her albums debuting at #1.

This makes me think that she thinks SOTB leaked because of her. That’s not the case though. Taylor’s album leaking seems like a “normal” leak. Red TV leaked a couple days before release too.

The whole album leaked. I doubt Lana would have had Taylor’s entire album on her laptop.

I know it’s probably unrelated, but it’s weird that she posted this within a day of Snow on the Beach leaking. I wonder if she even knows that leaked though.

The fact that I know that some of her fans are still going to listen to leaks after she said not to. She has one of the worst fan bases that I have seen when it comes to privacy unfortunately.

BOZ confirmed that the version that leaked is the final one. This reminds me of when blue banisters leaked and people were saying they were just demos lol.

It does show up on Apple Music though. I think on Spotify the song doesn’t have the featuring Lana Del Rey as part of the name of the song, which is why she doesn’t have Lead credits there. Unfortunately SOTB does which makes me think it will be counted towards her lead credits.

I just realized that this song is going to show up as her most popular song on streaming services for a while and she’s not even in it. I’m going back on the hating on Taylor train.

This just reminded me of Party Monster. That’s a song where it makes sense for Lana not to be credited as a feature, and he still gave her more prominent vocals in the outro. I’m positive that if Taylor hadn’t announced this as a feature, it would have been a nice surprise on release day to hear that Lana co-wrote the song. I highly doubt many people would be upset that she didn’t get a credit for backing vocals as that is the standard for most artists.

After the initial disappointment, I have to agree. Taylor has only given a female artist verses once in her entire career. Plus Lana didn’t seem excited about this like she was with the FJM collab. We should have seen this coming. Definitely don’t think it was Lana’s idea though because she seems to just follow what the lead artist asks of her when it comes to features. She seems to be okay with singing only a bridge, most of the song, or backing vocals.

Lana? She gave Weyes, Zella, and Nikki plenty of vocals on Chemtrails.

Father John Misty just gave her a whole song. It’s a cover but still part of his album.

Ideally Lana never acknowledges this collab.
