  1. It's so unsettling, off putting and traumatic. It's a skip for me. I hate hate hate when people talk about God/religion in an agressive tone. It it was something spiritual (like Phantom Regret) I wouldn't mind it but it is Lana's worst song.
  2. I love the story she's telling with these city names belonging to a different country Paris, Texas Florence, Alabama Venice, California in a song where she questions if she belongs to that place or not
  3. Little detail I noticed about Candy Necklace: When she sings "acting young and reckless", she misses the beats, goes in early with the piano. such a beatiful way to use music to complement story.
  4. You're right. I believe that's the concept of the album and Kintsugi sums it well; that's how the light gets in.
  5. If she extrapolates from one of the songs from DYK, I would love to have a nostalgic 70s sounding album like Let The Light In.
  6. Spotify users, You can report clipping issues here, there are lots of them in this album unfortunately: https://support.spotify.com/us/article/report-content/ The last time, they did return to reports and fixed it after a couple of days.
  7. I finished my first listen, it's a really heavy album to construct thoughts about it in just one listen. It's very experimental. The first half is very wordy and hard to digest. And the second half is more light and uptempo but I had hard times getting into it after how the first half made me feel. As I've said, it will take a while to understand this album. Right now, it didn't click with me. One thing I'll say though: Wow...I wasn't expeced this from Kintsugi. It made me cry... After the album ended, I came back to listen to it and I cried again. It's beautiful. @Kintsugi you were right.
  8. I'm about to have my first listening experience in a minute, wish me luck The only thing I've heard from this album is the title track and A&W, no other snippetz and I didn't look at song spoilers. It's gonna be a surprise.
  9. Then it is indeed radioactive piss as someone here called earlier
  10. Better representation of vinyl colors: and this is when you swap them:
  11. How about putting indie green vinyl into Amazon case, and putting Amazon purple/pink into Indie case?
  12. Someone during BB release, explained it technically. As far as I remember it is something to with noise range of album. The difference between the quietest point and the loudest point in the album is above the standards(due to bad mastering) therefore algorithm of streaming platforms cannot handle it properly causing clippings and cracklings.
  13. They are incompetent and it’s so embarrassing. They are doing the same mistake they did with BB… and I’m sure they are not even aware of it. Now it’s fan’s job to email Spotify etc. to fix the issue.
  14. Oh no…The same thing happened with Blue Banisters. but it was because of sending unsuitable files to Spotify, YouTube and it was not about mastering. They fixed it after a while. Edit: actually it was something to do with there being too much noise difference between the quietest point and loudest point and Spotify algorithm being not able to handle it. It is essential mixing/mastering issue as they need to keep this level in between standards. I cannot believe they’re doing same rookie mistakes again…smh
  15. Why did her live video end so quickly
  16. I remember with Blue Banister's release, there were serious issues with audio clipping on Arcadia, Beautiful etc. It was unbearable to listen. We emailed Spotify and they said they will fix it and they did like in 3-4 days.
