  1. It’s actually real life story of Elizabeth Short knows as Black Dahlia. Her murder is still unsolved mystery with really really disturbing images on web.
  2. Unpopular opinion: I didn’t enjoy VB part that much. If I want to go to listen VB I would put the original. I would prefer Taco Truck to be a full song with its own outro.
  3. By the way, I just noticed that they fixed clipping issue in Spotify and the sound is more clear I contacted them yesterday and they said they will look into it and they did it in less than a day
  4. When her tone changes while singing “that’s how the lights gets in”, my heart shatters into million pieces.
  5. She's so charismatic. I really hope MV includes Jon Batiste Interlude as outro.
  6. The last chorus of LTLI makes me feel like I'm in a 70s movie, where the blowing wind makes the wildflowers dance and setting sun washes away the color of green hills
  7. It might be the most hated song on this album, but undeniably it is the most iconique one.
  8. This is probably the taco truck at VB she's talking about (especially after her "Bonita" lyrics)
  9. Why does Jack Antoffoff sound like someone who just forgot how to talk though?
  10. I hate it. Lana’s worst song ever and it will be hard to dethrone this one.
  11. Can you post these timestamps here if you do so. We can write detailed email with them to streaming services so that they can quickly identify the issue.
  12. It was like this during Blue Banisters too, at least on YouTube and Spotify. When she was saying beautiful it was clipping every time, also in Arcadia when her voice gets high and other songs. It was fixed after complaints. I'm guessing this is not present in vinyl or CD. From what I remember, it is a mastering issue, where the difference between loudest and quietest noise is not within the standards. Streaming services use their own algorithm to adjust noise levels to certain standard, so one album is not louder than the another. When this noise difference is not within standard limits, their algorithm causes clipping. At least, that's what happened with Blue Banisters album. We should spam streaming services to fix the issue, they took it seriously with BB. https://www.apple.com/feedback/apple-music.html https://support.spotify.com/us/article/report-content/
  13. Most American cities were founded in the 18th or 19th centuries by immigrants from Europe. They chose names that reminded them of their home. She uses these city names that belong somewhere in parallel to her feeling of not belonging to somewhere and her quest to find her home.
  14. I see why this song is right after Kintsugi. She shows all her cracks and pours her trauma, and then the second “joyful” side of the album starts.
  15. This song sits in the middle of the album and perfectly summarizes the story she wants to tell: ”that’s how the light gets in”
  16. Maybe censoring [cop] and [mother] is a statement. She doesn't want to have their name coming from her mouth.
  17. I'll write it here too. I love the story she's telling with these city names belonging to a different country Paris, Texas Florence, Alabama Venice, California in a song where she questions if she belongs to that place or not Most American cities were founded in the 18th or 19th centuries by immigrants from Europe. They chose names that reminded them of their home. She uses these city names that belong somewhere in parallel to her feeling of not belonging to somewhere and her quest to find her home.
  18. Congratulations! @littleredpartydress Thank you @Mer for this giveaway.
