  1. i mean look at the lyrics: All the things I couldn't want for him I screamed for them I screamed for them She's likening the devastation of her man not being in the right side of history with her like it's a protest of her own. She isn't mentioning BLM as a means to dispel the racism claims - it's meant to place this story in time and to highlight how heartbreaking it is to witness someone you love go against the fucking bare minimum and your core beliefs as a good person. Like imagine how she might feel seeing Sean witnessing her at the protests and him just seeing her and doing nothing but being a pig. Text Book tells a very sad story and I personally relate to it after seeing my ex turn into a major hypocrite and it's truly devastating when you find out the person you love and cared for is someone you're supposed to despise - in Lana's case a racist.
  2. y'all do know she's not referring to the BLM protests when she sings "i screamed for them" right?
  3. i never though about it - don't know what that says about them
  4. how it aged beautifully? we can get that conversation going
  5. inspired by @Venice Peach here's my predictions of the unheard tracks - Black Bathing Suit: this is either a very dramatic yet sexy banger or very classy yet sexy ballad it's one of the two - If You Lie Down With Me: the title is referenced in Wildflower Wildfire and the fact that it's written with Barrie has me thinking... is this a UV outtake? (perhaps a reworked version of Your Girl) or something entirely new? Whatever it ends up being this is the track i claimed and i know it won't disappoint - Beautiful: Lana is very eccentric with her titles and i guess it all started when David Kahne made her retitle "The Ocean" to "Kill Kill" cuz it was deemed boring by him and she did so angrily. I know everyone is worried about the generic title but think of "Heroin" and "California", whatever this song is about i trust it's gonna blow us away. - Violets For Roses: judging from the leaked lyrics this is gonna be a tough one - her calling roses basic though? this one's gonna hurt - Sweet Carolina: Judging from the writing credits and Rob's description of it i'm gonna guess this is gonna be a thematic continuation to Blue Banisters and it will hit even more harder knowing that Lana eventually found her peace within her family and friends and is now better than ever. She said by the end of the record we'll get to where she is today and i can't wait to find out - all of her closers are powerful so i cannot wait

  8. Thunder I hope I just know the reworked version will serve Living Legend is obviously rerecorded or something it's the most unmastered out of the tree u mentioned and I think an insider mentioned it's been given more life Nectar of the Gods I think is just remastered it's already perfect the way it is - same with Cherry Blossom I kinda hope the leaked version we have is on the album but I just know that a rerecording of Cherry Blossom would blow it right out of the water
