I have listened to the album enough to rank the songs(it was so fucking hard) If I'm guilty, I'm only guilty for spilling so hard AW Candy Necklace Let The Light In Paris, Texas Fishtail Kintsugi Taco Truck Did you know.. Peppers Fingertips Grandfather Sweet The Grants Jon Daddy Interlude ----THE HELL---- Judah Smith Margaret (It's so ugly..I literally can't listen to this song, i get sick from so many elements of it. The only Lana song I skip.)

I'm totally being delusional but maybe VB part is a sign that the specific elements of the last three records(COCC-BB-OB) will be no longer be there on the next record. I'm taking about the elements of calmness, wordiness than usual almost like a poem, the family and close friends themes, and the vibing rather than world building. So VB part could be interpreted like she'll go back to world building which she stopped after NFR imo. But despite everything i said, I believe there's a super high chance that she'll release an album full of Arcadias and Sweets too

I just kinda wish Jon Batiste was the main producer of this album rather than Jack. Lana wanted this album to be piano-driven and Jon could have done wonders if he was on other tracks too. I think like that because of his production and piano skills on Candy Necklace and Interlude. He put so much depth and richness to these songs than Jack did. I want to see him on the producer seat of at least half of the LDRX songs so bad

the first part sounded like it samples another song, what is ittt -
oh my god I just finished my first listening and I had the biggest disappointment in my life aghhh. The first half of the album was perfect and set the atmosphere so good. Candy Necklace... I JUST FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. It sounded so medieval just like Dragon Slayer. Jon Batiste interlude was cute and experimental and I respect that. But after the first half of the album, the atmosphere just faded away. It felt like a more mixtape than BB(I couldn't think that was possible). And I was waiting Let The Light In to be so grand and big but it turned out to be a cute little love song (but still better than Margaret ofc). I think Let the Light In and Margaret are in the same veins and I don't see the reason why Margaret is on the tracklist. It's just less prettier version of Let the Light In. Venice Bitch sample felt like it was some kind of YouTube edit 🥸🥸 And I couldn't remember what the half of the songs sound like after I finished listening to the album. I am sure this album will grow on me. I know majority of the album needs to be listened more than just once because of how wordy it is and the way the production changes drastically between the songs. But these are just my first impression of the album and they may change drastically after I listen the album for the second time. and I am so excited to read this thread from the first page and see your reviews!!!
