  1. I think the song is going to be beautiful, cinematic, sad and happy all at once. It sounds like she really just wants that true, simple, ideal relationship (talking about house chores, having children), and she’s desperately asking this guy (Clay) to do it all for her, and also “take away her pain” (obviously the “house chores” can be both literal and metaphorical). She’s asking him to be that guy for her. It’s a true love song. Also relates to the ideas within COTCC about her escaping, running away from fame, and settling into a normal life. This is the perfect continuation from that record if she decides to go down this path! The lyrics also remind me of Venice Bitch, in particular the lyrics, “give me hallmark, one dream, one life, one lover - paint me happy and blue”. Again, she’s talking about that idealistic ‘white picket fence’ life she wishes to build with someone, and the colour blue also plays into it thematically.
  2. I cannot stop watching the snippet. I cannot stop watching the snippet. I cannot stop watching the snippet. I cannot stop watching the snippet. I cannot stop watching the snippet.
  3. Me too, and I’m on the delusion train that Lana will drop BB on Friday
  4. I got the exact same feeling - it definitely evokes a lot of emotion. I can imagine the instrumentals becoming more grand as the song goes on, kind of like Chemtrails, but way more cinematic sounding.
  5. Maybe also adding Living Legend to this... possibly even Hey Blue Baby
  6. I have a strong feeling that because the snippet had very prominent images of her and Clay, including the blue lights, it was always intended to be for Blue Banisters
  7. Makes sense! I thought it had some sort of cute symbolism
  8. Did anyone else see how the watch she’s holding in the snippet has the letter “J” on it? Could it possible be because she references almost every guy in her songs/poetry as Jim, Joe, John, etc.? I got the feeling she made it a point to show it!
  9. Album concept (not saying this is what I want the album to be specifically, but this vibe would be really cool) Blue Banisters Thunder Rock Candy Sweet Yes to Heaven Wild on You Cherry Blossom Rehab (Pretty Baby) Dealer Velvet Crowbar Pawn Shop Blues Roses Bloom For You
  10. On the COTCC pre-release thread I was saying how the contrast/similarities I get between NFR & COTCC was that NFR gave me “summer cool” vibes (the ocean, waves, beach) and COTCC gave me “summer warm” vibes (sunsets, campfires, the heat). BB is giving me a mix of those two. Obviously the colour blue adds to the coolness, but the subject matter, the lighting, the lyrics, country aesthetic, and love song quality is making it feel warm. I’m so excited for this!!
  11. it sounds so much like lizzy/demos/UV/honeymoon and sounds so full-bodied... her VOCALS TOO OMG. the visuals are stunning. aesthetic is giving me chemtrails moving into folk/country. i am in LOVE.
  12. i’m about to puke and pass out and cry and scream and oh my god i love this woman so damn much
  13. I haven’t decided if having a vinyl with that cover will be more upsetting or iconic - perhaps a bit of both.
  14. LOL yeah I sensed a bit of joking around, but I agree to some extent. Obviously everyone can have an opinion on the cover - art is open to criticism. But in my opinion, Lana IS very intelligent, and I think I want to wait and see what her next move is before I jump to conclusions. Also, there has been so much discussion about her in the media lately that she may be doing all this on purpose to perpetuate that discussion.
  15. This is what I have been saying. She’s very intentional with everything she does, and I think we just have to wait and see what’s to come from the album, or her in general. She’s unpredictable.
  16. Is it just me, or is the general, overall volume of the songs on this album very low? Not sure if it’s just the Spotify versions, but for every song on COTCC I have to physically turn up the volume in order to hear it properly, and even then, the bass isn’t super prominent (which is something I personally like in music).
  17. I feel like Lana has always been intentional with her work. I think we just have to wait and see until something is confirmed/made official.
  18. who else kind of finds all this almost eerie? it’s all just so strange... idk maybe i need sleep
  19. this !!! i would actually love to have it on a vinyl cover tbh... it’s kind of iconic
  20. I’m just so confused because RCS and BB (recent post) have the same selfie cover, but what about the BB post from a couple weeks ago?? what is the true album/single cover
  21. honestly buying a vinyl with that selfie as the cover art is kind of iconic as terrible as it is
