I’ll agree that while the three singles + the snippet sound more full and cinematic than NFR! and COTCC, I wouldn’t say NFR! was a complete disaster. It was a very strong album and had some of her best songs of her career. While I love HM more than the other two, I can say that NFR! was some of her greatest work. However, this new album sounds extremely promising, and may do even better than NFR!. Edit: I will add that I think Jack produced NFR! better than COTCC, so I’m glad Lana is working with different producers this time around.

Manifesting an October 15th release for the day after my birthday I honestly think there’s a good chance the single comes out in August. I also hope she releases that video and it isn’t just being used to preview the song snippet.

I’m re-listening to the snippet, and the echo of the piano and the reverb in her voice, plus the pitch, is reminding me sooo much of her earlier work - in particular, it sounds like it came straight off of Paradise. Sonically, it is reminding me of Yayo!

Yeah I should’ve clarified - I was referring to whether it was the same day or not! I def don’t think it’s called Hilton Hotel, it is more likely to be “Good God” at this point, but who knows!

When Lana posted the photo of her and the butterfly knife (which she deleted shortly after) the caption was “good god”. She had yellow nail polish and was wearing a yellow shirt, and she looked to be in a hotel room, so it’s likely she was filming the new single that day!

I think “Good God” is a great name for the single! I think it could work as an album title too, but with the banisters in the cover, I just think naming the album “Blue Banisters” makes more sense.

I agree! I just find it cool that it’s most likely the day she filmed the video - that was more so what I was referring to.

Not BoZ saying the album has a new title I’m not sure what to believe at this point to be honest. Edit: I know BoZ is known to be reliable but I think I’m going to stick to official news from Ben, Ed and Lana herself.

It’s kind of sad because clearly Lana sees the significance of adding these songs to the album, and the direction/vision she wants to bring to life, yet people are hating on it. I understand wanting new songs we’ve never heard before, and I’d be saying the same if we hadn’t gotten a whole other album just a few months ago - but we did, so I can appreciate Lana choosing Thunder and Cherry Blossom for BB.

Exactly, I’ll stick to official Instagram posts by Lana and her management. Although Lana sometimes does change her mind, they’re likely more accurate than an insider would be.

I don’t think the cover has changed, I think Ed Ben Neil posting the photo is confirmation enough that it’s official. Of course Lana can always change her mind, but it took her a while to post an update about the album in the first place, I don’t see why she would change it in a matter of 48 hours.

Something about the already released singles, the snippet, and rumoured songs (Thunder & Cherry Blossom) are getting me sooo excited for this album! There is something magical about every one of these songs and I can truly feel how full-of-life they sound. I’m beyond ready for whatever Lana has for us!!
