This makes sense! However it’s also possible that this post is indeed for a single, and the album is related to behind the iron gates... I imagine RCS being about showing the world who she truly is, regardless of the bad press she gets in the media. It may connect to behind the iron gates, because of the institution, and also makes me think back to the “Interview” interview. Maybe this era connects both the poetry book and RCS, kind of like how VBBOTG and COTCC are related (in my opinion). I hope this makes sense!

Haven’t been on LB since COTCC dropped but OMG her last insta post... could this be a single?? I’m so excited!!!!!

I’m also hoping the new album will relate more to the “Interview” interview she did, because I’m having trouble relating it to Chemtrails (and I absolutely adore that video). If it’s any hint into what RCS will be like thematically, then that makes SO much more sense, and it makes me even more excited for what’s to come.

I’m kind of hoping she sticks to the June 1st date because I feel like she would do SO well with sales and even just how people receive the album... it’s a good strategy to do it soon after Chemtrails.

A June 1st date isn’t that impossible... there was mention of a record that is based on the “last 18 months of her life” or something. She could have been working on it during that time - explains why there was little promo for Chemtrails and no album trailer. Possibly also explains why she dropped the American Standards album ????? She may have been focused on writing RCS for a while now.

Not to mention, MAC was released waaaay before NFR. RCS could possibly roll out in a similar way.

I think Lana is “over” chemtrails, in the sense that she wanted it out there, released, and done. That’s maybe why she didn’t do much promo. I think it’s because COTCC is such a personal album in a nostalgic, light-hearted way. But now she’s MAD - I think this was planned. It’s actually a great promo strategy. Why else would she choose to respond to an article from January? I don’t think it’s *completely* delusional to think even a single will be released on June 1st, and an album later in the year... possibly around September-November.

I’m thinking if anything it’ll be a single !! the album won’t be out for a while after that... but she did say she was working on two albums already so there’s a SMALL TINY chance it is a whole album... whether it’s dropping on June 1st, I don’t know. Probably not LOL
