Honestly I remember her saying something about how the controversies make it hard for her to know what to do with her music and to create. A lot of happened after NFR and I’m sure it had a negative impact. Not to be a downer but COCC sounds incomplete. I feel like when all that shit happened she just didn’t want to make the album anymore because she had new ideas. Artists do that all the time, they could be painting a tree but realize a painting of a mountain would be way better so they move on to the next project.

I honestly can’t imagine RCS being on the same album as BB UNLESS RCS sounds more like dark but just a game. the theme she’s suggested of RCS is opposite of blue bannister unless it’s her conceptual representation of clap back. there’s still the cover classics album somewhere, that exists 100%. There’s a separate album she’s making or made with Nikki Lane. And then there’s BB/ RCS. There’s THREE albums in existence right now y’all. This is fax.

Joni's presence was very up front in COCC. ie. white dress, down at the men in music business conference, the style she sings it in is very folk and reminiscent of Joni's vocals and writing. there's also the joni cover on it. she's still very inspired by 60's/ 70's but a different genre. it's more laurel canyon, desert folk kind of stuff. she was also hanging out with joan baez while she made this album who is another icon and influence from the 60's. i would also argue that some of her influences lately are a bit outlaw country, a lot of people freak out when lana says country but i think of it more along the lines of june carter, patsy cline kind of stuff.

i work in IT, but i dont see anything on her main website that insinuates blue bannisters or rock candy sweet in the code, it doesnt look like it's been updated. if anyone has another link or website ill try to examine the source code.

she really does, but she also usually puts out what her favorite song from the album is first. which always tend to be ballads. which really frustrates me when fans bash on her ballads and quiet songs because it's clearly what SHE has always wanted to make. big production or not, her lyrics are untouchable by almost any artist in our generation.

i wonder if any of the songs from her notes are gunna be on this album. i remember one of them was called grenadine quarantine and if this is the end i want a boyfriend

i was really worried she'd stick with the first album name only because white hot forever doesn't sound too good after QFTC. and a lot of people don't know vocabulary the way lana does and would misinterpret it and we'd have to deal with hell. Chem trails is an excellent album title i think it exudes a lot of imagery and concepts.

honestly im not sure if they are specifically bruises, it could just be the editing quality HOWEVER. If they are bruises im suspecting it might represent her treatment by the media and society, how shes always being attacked and beat up by the tabloids. it could also be some shade against the idea that she glorifies domestic violence, although i dont think this would be a good thing to do because it's a sensitive topic.
